"Each will cost one credit, will not have a Galactic Reputation Requirement"

That should make everyone happy. Anyone who complains about the 1 credit is just trolling.

1 credit and no reputation. I can say im happy at this outcome.... To an extent, only thing I can complain about is that others who didn't buy packs now have access to it.. In sense they are still wasting my money, but meh the outcome, for me, is a good one

This is what everyone who is complaining about this seems to forget. You did not spend $$$ to buy Cartel Packs. You spent $$$ to buy Cartel Coins. You got the exact number of Cartel Coins you expected when you bought them. You would be laughed out of court if you tried bringing any kind of lawsuit.

You - "Bioware defrauded me when they didn't put the table in Cartel Packs"

Judge - "How many US dollars did you spend on Cartel Packs"

You - "Cartel Packs cost Cartel Coins. I spent xxx on Cartel Coins."

Judge - "So you paid US dollars for Cartel Coins and got all the Cartel Coins that were advertised?"

You - "Yes."

Judge - "Case dismissed."

Indeed.

Further.. their good will remedy was more then generous and considerate. A game bug in EVERY players favor in the end.

Someone, somewhere though.. will be bent about this in someway.

Nonsense. Per the terms of the EULA.. they can change the terms of access to content, and the content, at any time, as long as they do not discriminate unfairly.

Absolutely true. As someone who opened zero packs, I would have been fine if the solution gave me no chance whatsoever to get a table. Heck, if I had opened packs, I would have just shrugged my shoulders and said "Well, OK, that's kind of disappointing, but I still got loads of stuff from the packs." As you yourself noted, buying umpteen packs just for the chance to get a given item is foolish, and I doubt many purchased and opened packs for the sole purpose of getting the table without any thought for getting whatever else also came in those packs.

I am waiting for the barrage of complaints about how it is overly generous.

I haven't opened a single Bounty pack. All my toons will now have an Emergency Med table.
If this is their solution to missing items in packs then I want more bugs like this

Huh. My fantasy of the only way to equip Cybernetic 505 armor is to own an emergency medical table is coming true.

I may actually use it, knowing it's only 1 credit.

Which is one credit more than it would be in cartel packs! :P
Ooh! In Elder Scrolls Online, I get magic spells and colossal PvP! That sounds cool, but one question, where do I get a lightsaber?
