Especially since it isn't possible to get said item, which is what he is asking for an update on. Andryah and others are the ones bashing him for buying the crates. What happened to your favorite line "that's none of your business"?

It's going to be impressive. We have our Update 1.2 coming in the next week and then after that it's going to continue to roll out month after month. It's exciting."

I know some think it does.. but it does not. It's licensed IP.. and it's subject to their discretion as to it's availability inside a digital game.

Ask any lawyer who is familiar with law as it pertains to digital content inside games. You have no claim to it.
If you pay to access certain content, that does not exist, you do have a claim. It would be the same as if you paid for a month of server access and that server access was not available the entire month. You would be entitled a refund. I don't care what a ToS or EULA states..... You cannot get around the law by having an unlawful contract. That being said... this is so minor it wouldn't be worth the time, but you are still wrong.

If there had been a 100% chance of getting a table in a pack and someone bought 100 packs but opened zero of them, they would have had 0% chance of getting that table directly from opening packs. I didn't think I had to spell it out to that degree.

actually, in its current state, if he had opened all 100 he would still have a 0% chance of getting the table

but you have a claim in that you purchased cartel coins under the false perception that these coins could immediately be used to get a random chance at obtaining an item - which did not exist. If the exchange of real currency for cartel coins, and then cartel coins for packs were from two different corporations, you wouldn't have a claim at all. That isn't the case though.

Yeah.... kinda like when you goto a casino and you pay for chips and then you use chips to gamble on roulette. Put all your chips on number 35 only to find that they removed number 35 from the wheel.

I only used the monthly grant coins to buy 5 or 6 packs as I thought the table would be a neat toy and ..well I dont use the coins for much else so I have them stacked up.

To me though the solution is to simply give every one 1 pack...as you have the same exact chance from one pack as you do from a thousand ( per pack )and call it a day.

Or just send everyone a table in the mail like with fireworks and other things and move on and next time check before releasing something that indeed every item is actually obtainable ( that part does bother me as it shoudl be " checkable in advance by quality control).

But again my 2 cents

Give nobody the Medical Table.
Instead give everyone who bought or opened a pack a free "Emote: Outrage".
Then put the Medical Table on the Cartel Market for some amount of CC.

Then we can all use our new emote to display our displeasure.

not really the same because in that casino you'd get nothing. from the packs you get a bunch of cool stuff that you can use or sell
