It's not like if I roll a healing class that I should feel cheated if the class actually heals. You have the ability to check your talents before you choose your AC, you can read about it on fora/guides/blogs/whatnot, ... There's more than plenty of information on every AC.

"Hi, I rolled a paladin but I actually want a rogue. Mind giving me a free swap?"

That's what you basically just said.
paladin and a rouge are completely different class's so no

The same goes for powertech and mercenary (or any other class with it's AC).

(I remember a mmorpg where you had to choose your specializaton at level 20 (which was about 3 weeks with non powerleveling and not 3 hours)).

not really i just find bash one ability (that i did not get to late level) till i have 5 stacks and pressing the other ability (that i didn't get till i maxed my tree) to complete to combo very entertaining i am sorry but i am not a "Mage" i like a play style with some skill involved

For instance I am a bounty hunter merc and to be honest its not as great as I had hoped it would be once I had skill points in all my tree and I feel I would rather tank but I can't change to powertech because you can't change your advance class even once and i find that unfair because i am like 4 levels off 50 and i don't want to start all over again.

AND TO MAKE MY POINT CLEAR I AM NOT ASKING FOR DUAL SPEC I DESPISE DUAL SPEC ALL I AM ASKING IS THAT PEOPLE GET A CHANCE TO CHANGE THERE ADVANCE CLASS ONCE.
So you managed to level almost all the way to 50 before realizing that merc isn't as fun as you'd hope? How exactly did you manage that?

Then it shouldn't have taken you 40 lvls to realize you didn't like that play style. By lvl 20 it should have been pretty clear exactly what the playstyle of that AC was.

Do you realize that if you give someone the chance to roll the class advance once, is only asking for trouble?
You say you want to change it because you don't think you like your current, fair enough, now think about it. What happen if you like the other advance class even less? You are going to complain and ask for yet another class advance switch?
And even if its not your case, it will be someone's else and it will only turn into a spiral of complains and whining

Guardian and Sentinel are completely different classes so no.. What is the difference??

What if people selected their AC at lvl 1 during character creation?? So because Bioware gave us a 10 level preview of both AC's people want the chance to change their class?? I don't think so..

Yes.. AC switching was briefly talked about in the beta forums.. A huge majority of the the community didn't want it.. Not to mention, AC switching in any form effectively cuts the number of classes in the game by half.. Not something Bioware would want..

So.. More info was given.. The ability to look at the talent trees of each AC before you choose was setup.. The player has all the info they need to make their choice.. All it takes is research and paying attention..
Who is the more foolish? The fool or the fool that follows him?

It takes just few hours to level a character to lvl10 so it's not that big of a deal to level it again
