None of your claims of "royalty" status in the game mean any more then for any other player since launch.

You are complaining for the sake of complaining. It won't get you your precious names back. Join the club. Many people lost names during various server consolidations. You are no more or less special then any of them.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

Naming conventions in this game are what they are and they have been the same since launch. Get over it. If names are so important to you in a video game that you simply must have the naming conventions of some other MMOs...then by all means play them instead. Flogging a dead horse is pointless and non-constructive discussion.
TBH, naming is actually easier now. Remember when Legacy names had to be unique, too?

Why are you excluding those? You realize many "Names" are nouns/verbs/combinations from other languages. Honestly, I kinda wish I had a character named Lamp because people in general are always saying how much they love lamp.

I'd also like to add that I lost my name in the first batch of merges. It's a name I've been using on most of my characters in various Star Wars communities for the past six years.

Was I upset? No. What did I do?

I added an extra vowel. Double letters are hugely common in your average Star Wars names.

Did people from my old server recognize me on my new server? Yes.

Did I cry about having to add in that extra vowel on the forums? Hell no. Because it's completely trivial and immature to whine about something so meaningless.

It's nobody's "fault." It is what it is. Why must there always be someone to blame? It already happened to OP once before. This should not come as a shock. It also does not warrant outrage, as it is a simple matter and we all know the score with it.

OP can be upset all he/she wants. Everyone is free to feel their natural emotions. However, applying just a little bit of reason would help the OP understand that the rant is pointless and the complaint is unfounded. He/she is no more special than anyone else around here.

I had to rename one of my characters when the first server merge-ation happened. Some idiot had the same name as me on the other server I played on where my character got shipped off to, turned out it was me. I had to rename my first created character because I had a character on another server with the same name.
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?

I feel bad for you...I know how it feels. There were a lot of better ways for Bioware to do what they needed to do than how they did it.

Yeah, this was actually a problem with MMOs that I dealt with years ago.. before we were even given "-" or " ' " as options in names.

Silent consonants, cleverly placed, has prevented most of my favorite MMO names from every being taken by other players....no matter how old and crowded an MMO is.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.
