but nice try. thanks for playing. 3/10 in effort.
Three start points as opposed to two.

Yeah, that's a whole bountiful of alternate content.

And nice grading system, but unfortunately, I'm not in High School anymore. So that matters about as much as, well, high school.

Thanks for attempting to post.

Bioware could've copied that innovation if they were smart without having to wait several years before having the wit to do so.

For instance, in Cataclysm (released 2010) the new daily zone "Tol Barad Peninsula" offered vareity in the dailies. One day you would be hijacking cannons and bombing boats, the next you would be killing ghosts for planks or seek out some elite mob. I thought the concept was simple and great and did help a little towards making dailies less repetitive and boring.

In Mists of Pandaria they expanded upon that concept. Not only were there vareity in the dailies, but before you even began picking your dailies up you get an option whether you want to do PvP dailies or PvE dailies, and finishing them all would net you a large amount of PvP or PvE currency. So there's vareity and choice. What does it matter if WoW has had 9 years of development? Those quests on that island has nothing to do with any of the previous content. It just shows that WoW is moving forward and SWTOR is stuck in the past.

[Edit] I suppose the staged weekly quest on Makeb is different. But on a scale of 1-10, how fun are those quests? And how frustrating are they? At least the roads in WoW are clear, in ToR you have to drive through packs of mobs and pray to whatever in hopes you don't get dismounted.
10/10 would read again. exactly my point and thoughts put in a much better way then I could have...and exactly why the argument of WoW's life is about as stupid as it comes in regards to content..esp dailies.

Actually, the old content is still run. By twinks, level appropriate players looking to gear before moving onto the next expansion zone, Transmoggers and Up and coming Raiders as training for end game. And funny thing is, despite all that "variety and choice", you can still find people complaining about the dailies being repetitive and boring on WoW General. So despite the claim that WoW is moving forward, it seems that both communities are still the same.

I don't play WoW... so this whole argument is over my head I guess? But I see nothing wrong with the variety of dailies.

If you don't like SWTOR, go play WoW instead. If you think it's so superior you could at least improve my experience by not whining about something that isn't a problem for the majority of players.

I agree dailies are not new content, they are just something to do. The aurora cannon for example should have been a one time quest with other unique storyline quests in section X leading up to an epic 4m phase that could be duoed or done with three people without needing 4 actual bodies to do it with dailies afterwards explained as "cleaning up" the area. I like the story behind CZ198 and even the context they gave us for why we are there, plus I actually like the rewards offered by the rep vendor and the two fp's are a nice way to gear up various alts also.

The problem I have with new story content is that once you finish there the entire zone becomes abandoned, no reason to return there and nothing else to do besides FP's or PVP while your various crew skills are going. Maybe now would be a good time to start adding some sandbox elements so the players have something to mess around with in the meantime, not sure what mind, but it's a thought.
Raid progression no one cares about. Unimpressive quote or one liner. Uninteresting guild name. List of characters with their level and class symbol. Server. Referral link.

No it was 3 starting zones to 2.

Human, Nelf and Dwarf/Gnome.

There was Orc/Troll, Forsaken and Tauren.

Or did you recently start playing World of Warcraft? Because, again, all that variety and choice came after it had been on the scene for a few years. Gnomes had to share the Dwarf area until the Gnomergan poisoning of I think Burning Crusade/Wrath of the Lich King and Trolls didn't get Echo Ilse until Cataclysm.

But, ya know, since you keep posting meaningless grades instead of doing some reading, I have to assume you have the debate skills of a bored house cat.

And yet despite making entire new world maps for their new expansions, without relying on old content, WoW has more stuff to do at end game than in SWTOR. More dungeons, more raids, more PvP. Granted, the PvP has had several years to beef up. As in, the Battlegrounds and Arenas don't "expire" when new PvP maps are released.

Different strokes for different folks people.

LEAVE THE DAMN DAILIES ALONE.

You may not enjoy them, you may not do them, you may think you're self superior, cause you know better, but guess what, there are people who do them, and do them faithfully, who know better, and consider the dailies a part of their play.

Why do some people feel the need to restrict others, because they think something sucks.

I don't tell you people to stop raiding, do I? Maybe I should. Raiding is like WoW...so...uh...DON'T DO IT.

Remember Essless and black talon? There needs to be more FPs like those. The newest ones lack interaction, and stray from the original vision. FPs shouldn't be streamlined in sacrifice of storytelling. As for the daily area, CZ-198 seems like it would be a good PvP map with objectives considering that the dailies help cancel each other out such as the republic wanting the kolto and the empire destroying it. It would be a nice sandbox to give PvPers a temporary home. I agree with the ending of dailies. If you want to give us more content, couldn't it be something less combat oriented? Or finally allowing us to sit in chairs across the galaxy?
