I'll be honest, I hate daily quests and think they're a poor excuse for content.

If you feel the same, go to my suggestion box thread and support it please. It seems that not many people frequent the suggestions area of the forums and we the players need to let the devs know we want more! I and all SWtOR players need your support to make things change!

So, check this out and let your voice be heard!

EDIT:

There is no reason ANY player should be opposed to having new and different types of real content, as I am suggesting. I can not fathom why someone would argue for having only daily quests.

IMPORTANT: If you have (serious) comments, please take them to the linked thread!

How about No

In all seriousness I have no problem with dailies. And until someone can come up with a decent content that can replace dailies (non sandbox content) then dailies will remain to keep players entertain and playing until major updates.

^This.

SWTOR should not be copying WoW in every little thing. If it wants to ever make a comeback it needs to grow in different ways from WoW.

The great thing about dailies is that if you don't want to do them, you do not have to. But if you do, they are always there.
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.

Dailies are an easy way to keep people busy without having to provide new content (I don't mean to sound cynical about it, but they are what they are)..

I get bored of them too (sometimes more quickly with some areas than others), so I stop doing them if I am. Not ideal, but they're not going away.

The problem is, dailies are not entertaining. How can you find repeatedly doing the same quests over and over and over enjoyable? They are okay for one play through for the story sometimes, but I'm sorry, go here kill 10 of this, gather 10 of that is NOT content and it is irresponsible of the devs to call it such.

And these major updates that you're waiting for? Makeb was one, as was Czerka. What are they? A huge pile of daily quests. The dungeons from the Czerka update are laughable. They had almost no story and were about as exciting as mowing the lawn.

So, what it comes down to is you and others of your mind set farming boring monotonous daily quests until the next "major update" which will consist of...guess what? More daily quests. I'm sorry man, your decent content is never coming unless we make it happen.

Please respond on the suggestion box thread I linked.

If it was as (relatively) easy, quick, and cost-effective to churn out brand-new content as it is to create dailies, then I'm sure that's what Bioware would be doing. No non-sandbox game can survive lengthy new content droughts in the absence of daily quests. Sure, they're not everyone's cup of tea, and most folks, I think, would much rather be constantly playing through completely new stuff, but that's just not feasible. The daily quest reputation grind is a solid strategy for keeping people coming back between expansions.
