But no OP, clearly it must be entirely the game, your biased subjective opinion must clearly be correct because otherwise you might be wrong.
I've actually taken the time to read every response in this thread, thank you very much, and have responded to a mix of both. The fact that many people are experiencing these same issues though blows your theory about me "being wrong" out of the sky.

For those of you who haven't experienced any of these things: hey, I'm jealous. Must be nice to be lucky. However, there's a sizable portion of us who have and the fact that Bioware is recognizing more than a few of them as known issues pretty much puts all of the "this game is perfect/there are no issues/it's all you" nonsense to rest.

Besides, the satirical portion of this therapeutic little rant fully acknowledges my addiction to the game. After 55 levels of playing through all of these issues though, I absolutely have every right to be burned out with them. If you were experiencing them instead of living in this utopian fantasy world where it's the most flawless game ever made, you'd be well beyond irritated too.

While I don't experience most of the problems the OP does, I do agree with the love/hate thing.

I love it because hey, it's Star Wars, and I have been a Star Wars junkie my whole life...and due to that I suffer through this game. So I come back and sub for a month (because the F2P model in this game has to be one of the worst I have ever encountered....hey EA/Bioware...take a look at Rift for how to do F2P... you could learn a thing or two.), only to get annoyed with the game in short order.

I overlook most of the bugs, but there are a few that really piss me off. The stuck in combat bug being one of them. Today I encountered it where it persisted even after killing the process with task manager, AND killing my toon and rezzing.

Aside from bugs, a lot of the game design just seems rushed and sloppy ....although at first I did find it humorous to watch my taxi shuttle fly through the side of a mountain, at least they no longer have the chance of killing us along the way.
My head clips through the back of my hood when I ride a speeder where my sith leans forwards to ride.
Any time one of my toons makes a certain expression I can see through their eyelids.
My speeder is slower than my horse in every other MMO.
Upgrading gear while leveling is a chore...especially since you have to gear out your companions aswell...this tends to have me with 1 companion with gear...and the rest I have never bothered to use...because gear in this game is tedious...and most of it is friggin ugly.

Most of this stuff is not major, I know...but I don't get the blind reverence to this game that some people have...

Of course, there was a study that showed fanboy's (or girls) suffer from low self esteem...which is why they blindly jump to defend their product, however flawed it is...

And don't get me started on the space fail-shooter.

Hell, galaxies...which was a decent but not great sandbox MMO that was turned into a ****** themepark MMO....but had a space portion that makes this look like something Uwe Boll would create.

bleh

The biggest issue I've had with 'Target Nearest Enemies' is that it has no default keybinding, you have to go into the preferences menu, look down the targeting tab and set your own key. Once I'd done that it works fine, as long as I am facing the target (they aren't behind me) I get the nearest mob to me.

My biggest complaint about targeting at the moment is the companion targeting problem when in active combat...it happens quite often, the automatic target cycle ends up choosing my companion instead of another mob. I have to watch for it and quickly tab off of my comp to continue fighting...a bit annoying at times.

Cure for TOR hating:

SimCity. Easily the worst and buggiest game by a major studio of all time. TOR is Nirvana, wrapped in Utopia, compared to it.

SimCity....a game for folks that hate to play games and love to torture themselves.

EA. The company that simultaneously tried to turn a solo game into an MMO (SimCity) and an MMO into a solo game (TOR).

Heh. I used to have a saying before the addition of F2P/Market.....SWTOR, the best multiplayer Star Wars RPG on the market pretending to be an MMO.
