I agree, if there is a way to fix the skirt without uncrossing the legs, I'd prefer that too. I would just like to see them fix that. And the male version of the Calo Nord hat at the back. My girls skull and hair is covered fine with the hat, but the men's is bad still, and I love the Calo Nord hat.

Goodness. LOL Recent Diatribe? Tell me something there skip, what color is the sky in your world? This type of nonsensical blurting is why, even if I wanted to, I could not continue a conversation with you ;p

First, you are not the board police and you do not dictate anything. Once you get past that it may be easier for you to discuss with people on an adult level.

You do not speak for “us”, unless you have a mouse in your pocket. ;p Is this another of your imagined realities? Do you imagine that there are board posters lined up behind you, supporting you? I'm not even sure where to go with this statement.

Second, I’m not sure where you got the notion, but nothing of mine was directed at the developers. If you can find that, beyond your own imaginings, please post it. I was speaking to Andryah regarding your “deal with it statement”. My apparent crime was discussing game issues with other posters on the message boards apparently. Beyond that, my contention was, and is that this is an unacceptable statement based on my 30 years of running a successful business enterprise. However, if you can PROVE, and not just rant to the contrary, please produce such a statement made by this or any company in regard to a customer concern….and good luck with that. ;p

Might also want to share with us this “diatribe” you are seeing. Please produce anything (I mean anything real LOL), that would indicate that I am in a state of rage, or have provided anything beyond polite, calm, informative discussion (before you started with your little board police act that is).

Once again, prove your claim that nothing is or ever has been solved by posting on this board. Is that also in your head or can you demonstrate that, as I can demonstrate quite the contrary from an issue just yesterday that a moderator picked up on and escalated (Assassin aura color), to the XP crash bug, all the way to the first week with the RE issue. All were originated on this very board…..so once again, you are incorrect and doing little more then some childish grandiose posturing.

Not important to you does not mean unimportant to others. This again is your own mind projection. According to recent posts and discussion this issue is important to people. It is apparently important to the OP. You many want to do a bit of research before you openly attack other posters based on misinformation and conjured in your own mind.

You claim it won’t be addressed. Again, can you provide proof of this or are we going to continue to hear your illogical assumptions promulgated into fact within the confines of your head? Is it no more insignificant then the, head clipping issue that was indeed fixed as a result of complaints on this board? Do you have absolute proof of this claim to back up your absolute statement? I suspect that you do not.

You say that I’m “unhappy”, or “stressed” with this game. Again, prove this rant because I would content that it is just more of your hysterical imaginings. If you were going to attack me and accuse me of something I would think that, rather then just blurt once again, you may have taken a quick look at my posting history as, once again, you are quite wrong in your assumptions about everything including my position on this game.

Are we done here yet or do I have to continue? Honestly, if I have to slog through more of your ridiculous statements, butchery of debate and logic, childish insults my eyes are going to start bleeding.

Grow up.

Apologies to other posters for the minor hijack….but wow, LOL

Graphics issues, especially glaring type that vastly alter the look of a particular aspect of the game tend to gain alot of attention simply because they are so "in your face". The issue with the chairs in particular is very glaring as it alters the entire look of the mount providing what appears to be the character standing with the chair as a "clown barrel" around their waist LOL.

I think the problem is escalated because the preview window shows the mount correctly and people are paying large sums of money for what amounts to a deceptive look, only to find out too late that the issue exists. Its not such an issue with standard mounts, but with the chairs its pretty awful. If one were to take the time to look, they would see very few of these in use. Oddly enough, they seem to have resolved it pretty well with the, Gree mounts.
May the Schwartz be with you....

Capes do all kinds of things in game. I love it when they float up past your head in free float when you are going down on a elevator.
The physics aren't the issue, its the clipping that becomes the real issue. How many outfits are ruined by clipping in SWTOR. Physics make the capes move, but they don't make them clip through the vehicles, that's programming. Telling someone to not wear something because it has an issue isn't a solution to a problem, its a workaround and workarounds are meant to be temporary.

You may say they can't test every permutation of outfits in this game but that isn't the reason for these issue to exist. The Voss social and legacy armor both have tops who's lower front piece clips straight through the skirts they were designed to be worn with. Clipping is an irritating bug that happens in many games and no, it can't always be eliminated but it can be managed better than it has been here in many situations.

Capes and robes clipping through bikes, skirts clipping through taun-tauns, its just bad work, period. I've actually changed many an outfit I was very happy with because I got tired of seeing it clip through my mount or changed mounts to save my outfit. Neither of these things is a fair trade off. Could I leave the game if it bothered me that much? Sure, but I'm not a big believer in just abandoning something without first giving someone the chance to fix the problem. Nor am I willing to always put up with simply going around an obstacle that shouldn't be there in the first place. Change is made by people unwilling to see things they believe in ruined by petty issues when they know they can be repaired if they voice their discontent.

If there is a tree branch on my sidewalk and I'm in a hurry, I'll go around it a few times, but I'm not going to go around it forever, I'm going to call whoever's responsible for sidewalk issues to drag that thing out of the way. This is a fixable issue and important to quality of life in the game.

Perhaps you prefer "rant?"

Obviously I can't make you reply to my question. But I'll ask it again (maybe you answered it in your ranting WoT, maybe you didn't).

Why does the clipping issue need to be fixed? It'd be nice, sure. But need? Not so much.

It needs to be fixed for the same reason that all quality of life issues need to be fixed, quality of life.

Leaving aside pointless back and forth about exactly how important it is or what the precise tone of someone's post was, if they're going to sell (either directly or through packs) mounts for real money, I'd certainly like them to not have these kinds of clipping issues.

I see the defense force is out on this one. The clipping through speeders is bad, but the clipping through armor pieces that are part of a set is straight up lazy programming. I'm guessing they don't have the man power or time to do better because of EAs thumb.

Either way they should fix one or two clipping issues per patch. I don't think that's asking to much. I don't think it will ever be addressed, I mean their fix for clipping is gimping items so they wont clip. For example Jedi robes are short sleeves and from above the elbow to the wrist is a wrap that is tight to the arm. All that to avoid clipping.

I want Lightsabers to stop clipping through robes and put the belt under the robe. You know like how every robe wearing Jedi has always worn it in the history of the Jedi.
