That is terribly unfair. We only like to ruin someone else's day if they're on the opposite faction...that's why that silly FFA Gree event area was so dumb.
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

I did this last night (got both mounts) with maybe one person who killed my tauntaun. Run in a group, problem solved.

OP should read this to get an understanding that he is not even playing the same game as the true PvP players. He plays not to win, so he calls others out who do. And in PvP it is all about winning and never losing, and letting other people have success with whatever they do is basically letting them win. It's not cheap nor it is griefing, BioWare implemented it in a way that makes that playstyle possible so deal with it. For example like this:

These days I just don't do those types of activities. but, in the past in other games if I was going into a contested area for a quest I would gather my friends who were good at PvP and enjoyed it and asked if they would watch my back. They got to have fun protecting me and PvPing out in the world. We all had fun and got things done. Together, we had fun and they even got me to do a bit of PvPing with them.

That is how I believe this is designed to work. Just a guess.
But don't come here on the forums and ask BioWare to dumb down a game that you cannot even play. Learn to play, and more important play to win, that is the mentality you should have when deciding to play on a PvP server!

No official answer needed. PvP happened on a PvP server. What was or wasn't being done when it happened is irrelevant.

That is pretty much what I meant when I said he "chose" for this.
None of that "code of honor, only fair fights" stuff - some people fight dirty, and it's an acceptable playstyle for a PvP server.
Also... bookmarked! Thanks.

it still boils down to.

pvp happens on pvp servers.

sorry but...get over it..or roll on a non-pvp server.

there is nothing else to say about it. Sorry. If you're on a pvp server you don't get to pick and choose when it's "ok" to pvp.....

Guys! Guys! Please believe my whinging so that way I can more easily avoid having to be accountable for choosing to roll on a PvP server!

Because trolling is the only way for some messed kids to feel good.
Killing someone just after he/she started dong PvE task or barely killing so it got punished from NPC death is one of the reason I never played on PvP server after some years in other MMOs.
On PvE servers same kind of persons try to prevent your luring using holostatues above the nest... or to bug-flag you for PvP when you fight wampas.
As you are on PvP server you have to just live with them... or find a way to fight back (guilds/groups/general)...

Unlikely. It was the easiest and cheapest way to put in a time sink. Instead of a series of quests that take you around the planet or planets just click things and hope random chance favors you. No rhyme or rhythm and takes minimal development.

Being selective regarding when and what you attack strikes me as a total dick move but I don't consider any PvP on a PvP server to be against the rules. Yeah it sucks sometimes but IMO not a violation.
