About 99% of what is written on this board is opinion and your stating it on about every post, that happens to not agree with your opinion is in MY opinion getting extremely boring and does a lot in making you loose credibility. Maybe if you actually would discuss opinions that are not matching yours instead of stating the obvious, people would react to you in a more friendly manner.

This is pretty much what I was trying to convey. But I think the "that's your opinion" with the sarcastic smiley face at the end is a copy/paste whenever she sees blue text or something she disagrees with.

No, it's not, really. Compare and contrast the following two statements, if you will:

"We're going to give you a token of appreciation."

"You are super-special to us and we're going to give you a gift to make sure you understand just how much we appreciate you."

Do those two statements set different expectations?

We all live or die as Krayt wills, Stryfe. At his word, I would cut out my own heart. Or yours.

I am of the opinion that opinions are much like your lower intestines, stinky and fraught with danger. So can we please start farting all over these boards.

Seriously and on topic:

I would make a comment all about society and how we seem to have gotten to the point the no matter what we are given we always expect/feel entitled to more, but that is pointless. Personally, I think saying nothing is a great idea, because regardless of the gift, spontaneity always adds a little bit extra to the appreciation factor, so maybe it would go over better if they say nothing.

The one time title though would need some form of heads up though, unless they just mail it free to everyone who logs in that day, then you can spend 5-10cc at anytime to unlock it on all characters if you desire.

At the risk of being infracted yet again for discussing moderation...

There are rules that the mods have established that produce "scores" for the types of infractions you get and I'm sure they're following those rules and doing the right thing based on the scores.

I don't care to put in the effort to see how many points a drunken profanity-laden rant is worth, but apparently from whatever his starting score was, it merited no more than a 24 hour timeout.

Bioware about your free gifts; thank you.

You see, here's a little story for you all. One time for my mothers birthday my brother gave her an ashtray. She didn't smoke, never smoked and never had the inclination to smoke. She took the ashtray and said; Thank you.

A lesson I learned at a very young age, perhaps some day others will learn it as well.
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?

It's the thought that counts. The gift is just a symbol of the thought. If they didn't care at all, there wouldn't even be a thought to produce a gift

I too learned this lesson, though out of my own ingratitude towards someone for a gift I didn't want, and my reaction haunts me to this day.
