I'm fairly new to the game, but I've found that I really enjoy selling crafting materials on the GTN. I do always make sure that I list my stuff at the lowest per unit cost currently possible (sometimes this involves me buying the REALLY low priced stuff first and reselling it), but I generally try not to undercut the next lowest by much. The only time when I really undercut a lot is when I'm not confident that the item will actually sell at anything approaching the prices at which it is currently available.

Sorry, but if you don't like getting undercutted by giants number, then be fair to the rest of the community. After all, your companions does all of the work
