BioWare please add new(s) classe(s)

Hello all,
I want to speak about the implementation of news classes.

Lots of MMORPG add new(s) classe(s) (for exemple, we have (or had) City Of X, Aion, World of Warcraft, The Lord of The Rings Online ...) so ... why not some new(s) classe(s) for Star Wars The Old Republic?

There isn't melee fighters non-Force users for players.

The Strategic Information Service and the Imperial Army are two sub-faction which players can't join.

Some players want to switch faction but if you add a neutral classe which stwich (or chose) his faction in the middle of his leveling.... all body will be happy (And You will not have to do the "miror classe"). (I think to the Pandarens of World of Warcraft as exemple.)

So I think there are goods ways to add new(s) classe(s).

And why not add this to the Cartel Market, (I know you love Cartel Market).

I'd love to see them add a news class.

It would be nice if they did add new classes to the game, for the unexplored story aspects alone...



I am a bit skeptical whether they will do that or not do that in the traditional way, given how they would need to add new areas on each planet etc . . . perhaps they could have a 'hero' style class (Like the Death Knight in WoW) one which starts at a higher level. That way they could incorporate the class story better in to the current storyline (depending on how big an impact your character has) and it would nice to perhaps play create a character that doesn't start of a s a rookie (For example, you could be a seasoned SIS agent, sent on a new mission with five new crew members).

I am very much a fan of creating a neutral faction, and perhaps class who chooses their faction during the story. In addition, i think it would be great if they added a feature which mean a Jedi could become a Sith and a Sith could become a Jedi etc . . .

As stated many times: the need to make an all-new storyline.

I think people do not realize how expensive SWTOR basic class is.

• There is the need to write a whole new story that would fit into the galaxy
• There is voice acting, for player character (male and female), 5 companions and dozens of story NPCs. Some existing voice overs would probably need to be modified to have the proper title (like Master Jedi, Mercenary, etc)
• There is the need to create new locations on the map (access points to story areas) and story areas themselves
• There is the need to do new attack animations
• There is the question of testing it throughly for balancing issues

Now multiply it all by 2, as we would need same class on both sides. Sure, we can have one Teras Kasi fighter for Rep and Imp, but they still need at least different stories, companions and maybe voice actors

So, new class? Possible. Financially feasible? probably not. What we are most likely to see is either a new advanced class (cheap, only needs new animations and testing for balancing), or another branching of already established advanced classes (for example, Guardian branching into Weapons Master and Defender)

More classes in this game is not needed. More playable content is needed.
