The game is still live, so to truthfully answer your inquiry no it's not "dead".

The game however has taken some lumps to the chin since launch, and while there is no need to discuss the reasons as to why, it hasn't (IMO) really tried to recover those numbers except using the F2P model and the Cartel Market. Granted I'm glad those options are about, as it does help with building up the servers, and of course generates a little income for the game. Although again (IMO), I think the game has a lot of untapped potential, and hope one day they begin to actually "develop" quality content that lures more people to play it.

Well, I have a priest in another MMO that could provide last rights, if interested.

Then we can play Zombie SW:tOR, cause it still seems to be kicking.

The OP is clearly a troll...lol

These people have been around since pre-beta... according to them the game was dead before it even launched.

The REALITY that these people clearly don't understand is that the game is very much alive... with 1.7 mil users in February, and indications are subs and users are up since then... not down.

But no matter what the facts are those trolls... well not listen, nor will they ever listen.

Perhaps not, but by going online alone their certainly seems to be a healthy number of players.

Sorry very very very very wrong. It was reported 6 months ago that 1.7 million F2P accounts were created, Not that there are currently 1.7 million user's. Ther servers could not handle that kind of traffic. EA was very clear with their Q4 earnings call with the lack of any new info on SWTOR.

I've never played a game in which the community seemed do eagar to declare it dead. It's quite bizarre.
