Consolidated list of topics that BioWare should respond to.

None of them actually require a gold post response in the threads linked. Would it be nice? sure. Needed? no. And branmakmuffin expressed a personal view on each linked thread. Views, which, I agree with. Others disagree. Yet several members in this thread felt the need to break the discussion off into name calling and personal attacks. Totally unnecessary, and totally off topic.

Dude.. it's a gaming forum... where different players express their different views and opinions about the game and discuss them (when not being personally attacked) together. That neither equals defense or offense.

STOP trying to make everything into an US VS THEM war between players with different views about things.

I both understand and think that part is fine.

Just because there is no gold post in the threads you linked DOES NOT mean the issues are being ignored. All it means is there is no gold post in those threads.

Even if there were gold posts in each thread.. the only thing that generally results from it is more complaining, more demands, and if the gold post is in any way vague or not what the OP wants.. rage festing begins.

TL;DR sometimes it's best to say nothing, and it's absolutely best to say nothing until you actually have something constructive to say. Forum members can spew and opine all day long.. but the Bioware staff are professionals and are not by definition part of the forum membership and are not here to opine and spew. For them.. it's facts, clarity, and conciseness which frankly is not an easy task with this crowd. I know some do not agree with that.. but it is reality.

Andryah, I understand that you're very passionate about this game, but could you please just support the community on this? I will admit that most cases, it can be an "us vs them" situation, but the community would just like some topics to be answered.

Every gaming forum has an Us vs. Them in some way, shape or form. Players vs. Players, Players vs Developers, Hardcore vs. Casual, PVPer vs. PVEer, Off Topic vs. General, etc.

Whatever happened to just Gaming?

Oh and just for good measure, the second insult of the thread was you agreeing with him.

We're saying exactly that. It'd be nice for them to reply to these threads.

Where am I not supporting the community here? I have agreed it's a good thread. I (a member of the community) have also agreed with branmakmuffin's (a member of the community) comments on the topic of the threads linked. I simply stated that gold post responses are not required. Nice to have? absolutely. Required? No.

Again.. stop framing everything in an adversarial US vs THEM context. Stop trying to censure comment and opinion of other players.

Thank you for agreeing with me that it would be nice to have dev responses in these threads.
