When you see 90% of the GTN prices under break even point level you facepalm and move on.

I don't care if people are playing the GTN game and rebuy it to sell for higher prices. No sweat off my balls and if they get some sort of pleasure from having all of the credits, more power to them.
There ya go. Right attitude right there.

And "good" is as defined by Jeweledleah, I'm guessing.

see the thing is... some people do what they do deliberately. and some people don't realize what they are doing. you don't know which one is which until you interact with them. silence however, gets you nowhere fast with either category, instead of just one of them.
And complaining does get you somewhere? Some people clearly just don't care (see my reply to Raltar above this one), and that's their business. You can't make them care.

now.. what bioware CAN fix is how GTN functions work in general. like being able to search by lowest per item price, instead of scrolling through 10-15 pages, mousing over each individual item. or ability to copy/paste a name of the item into search window instead of having to type it manually. or ability to specify size of the stack you want to sell instead of having to split it manually in your inventory before making listings. they don't have to, it's just minor quality of life improvements that they could consider working on.
Sure, that's great. LotRO's AH as the ability to sort by unit price. That'd be nice here, too.

meantime... yes. there are workarounds people being, well people. doesn't mean I have to be happy about using them, or not point out actions of others that create the need for those workarounds in a first place. is all.
"Need" is way too strong a word, here. It's a game. If part of it is too frustrating, stop doing that part of it.

Stop putting everything up on the GTN for ridiculous prices.

There are very few things in the game that I would say is worth a million credits, yet I'm always seeing things that are going for 1 mil, 3 mil and even 5 million credits. I love when those idiots get undercut A LOT.
I suppose getting a lyrium tattoo of breasts on my chest would make things better...

You can't control what others do. It's Monopoly money so either wait 'til theirs sells or buy and re-sell theirs yourself. Either way, who really cares?
If you care so little, why did you answer my post? lol

I care because it makes the market aspect of the game pointless. I was enjoying it, and then a bunch of people who don't know how to play came to ruin it. I have the strong feeling they did it, because it's fun for them to ruin things for others...not because it's clever, that's just how they get their jollies. I took some time to think strategy, and I've come up with something that works for me, and these shtheads who do this crap just because they can, don't affect what I do anymore.

If you are a consumer.. you buy and move on... a happy camper.

If you are a seller, with any merchant intelligence... you shift your product sales INTO the current profit niche. There are always dozens and dozens of niches.. and they change as player tastes change.

Adapt to the market... it's player driven, it's competitive, yet there is much profit to be harvested from it.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

PvP is common in the player economy. Embrace it, adjust to it, or walk away from it.

The thing is.. in the GTN.. the PvPer does not generally follow you. It's extremely easy to either wait them out or move somewhere else in the market and thrive.

TL;DR it's not anywhere near the "Greek tragedy" you are trying to paint it as.

Sounds more like you are upset because they manage to play the game better and take away your profits.
Dear BW,
Please nerf paper and buff rock. Scissors is fine as is.
