If bioware decided to do something special for everyone and sent that title in the mail, it wouldn't have caught so much heat. Charging for it... will always cause people to be pissed off, especially Subs.
It's a promotional item they are putting in the CM for the anniversary of a game they made. they have no reason to give anyone anything for it. An item I might add that costs about 11 cents a week after they gave you about $5 in free coins.

They never said they are giving out gifts for the anniversary of KOTOR. They just gave all the subs a gift last week. If they really wanted to make a "money grab" as some people call it (or stay in business as some others do) they could sell Revan's Robes direct in the CM for that day (you can have that one for free BW).

When it all comes down to it's a promotional item that has no effect on anything that they are selling extremely cheaply after giving everyone who pays for the game via subs a gift worth 50x as much. I don't see what's to be upset about

Not all for-profit companies are ******es.
Wow really? Couldn't they give away something unique to truly show me appreciation. 7-11 is so lazy.

It affects my respect for Bioware and this game. The less I'm going to respect Bioware, the more chance they're going to lose a "traditional MMOer" customer. I think everyone should have the same requirements in order to get something which is related to combat. Just because you're rich irl, doesn't mean you should be able to bypass requirements in game that other people have to earn, in my opinion. I don't care how people spend their money, I just want Bioware to prevent them from bypassing systems, and getting the item the normal way...where you play the game to earn it. I dont care about the people who want to pay. I care about Bioware allowing them to pay. End of off topic discussion.

Im talking about the people who spend like $200 a month on cartel coins who "dont have enough time to play" because they somehow feel they must fastrack everything.

Some of you need to stop with the harassment. It's ridiculous. This player is just critical about the game, and to an extent, I am too.

I have had no issues about what this player has posted on the forums, and s/he has every right to post their concerns until they decide to cancel their sub for good.

Jeebus, just because we play the game doesn't mean we have to blindly love it like some of you do, and defend it to the point where any critical post—whether constructive or not—is said to be made by a "hater", "complainer", "QQ'er", etc. Even go as so far as to call out the OP for "trolling".

Like, seriously?!

And because they can't fix Revan's Color bug. (which players have proved outside of the Foundry and MP to be valid despite the deve's passing it off as a lighting issue) showed me they don't care about the quality of what is sold through the cartel market interface, which is why they are no longer getting 150$ a month from my subscription and pack buying. I am going cold turkey with just a sub unless they can redeem themselves.

This is what they should of done for the Kotor Anniversary to the least.

There really isn't that much you can "fast track" with real money. The people who spend that much money per month are buying cartel packs for fluff items.
