Gamebreaker: "Bioware gives us ****"

It was a pretty good listen.

I have noticed that they have become more critical of the game over time. This didn't seem like harsh criticism, however. It actually seems like a pretty measured reaction, aside from the initial comment.

It also drives home the idea that this probably should not have been framed as the "subscriber appreciation" item. Considering what was going on at the time it was probably poor timing.

I think if this came 6 weeks ago it would have been more positively received.

I think basically they hyped it up too much for what they were actually going to hand out.

I really could not agree more with a lot of what they have said in that episode, mainly from Laura's point of view. I have played since launch and overall this has been the greatest gaming experience of my life and I played some great games in their prime. But I can honestly say the Cartel Market is insulting to people who sub to this game. I was so happy when I heard that the new companion was going to require level 40 legacy. Finally something to reward the people who have invested real time into your game. But no, you greedy bastards decided that if you can get real money you don't want to cut off the flow of your gold streets. I'm done, that was the straw that broke the camels back.

P.S. - When a show that is about your game brings up another title in examples to improve (Guild Wars 2, a true F2P experience) you should get your act together.

Offering the stupid Ewok in the CM is a good move on their part. I'm guess the percentage of people in this game who have achieved Legacy 40 is rather small. A new companion is a lot of effort for not much (if any) return. Putting it on the CM only makes sense.
