When did they remove pre-paid deposits? I could have sworn just yesterday (due to some stupid decisions on my GTN guy) i couldnt list everything I wanted becuase I didnt have enough credits on him (i sent some over but still)

Pre-paid deposits are still there. They just nerfed them to be a percentage of vendor sale value rather than a percentage of your asking / posting price.

I have a feeling that's the new mode of operation for the few credit sellers who are foolishly still trying to make money on this game - troll the GTN.

even better, all I do all day .. EVERY day is use logmein to remote to my home pc while im at work and send out crew missions... 10 hours a day. then i will go home and play the game and collect *gasp* more mats! and only have to kill things to get them!!

so yeah.. free mats for me = undercut get used to it.

Seriously bioware WANTS me to do this... mission timers are up to 60+ minutes... omg it is so simple to use remote-control software like logmein to every 60 minutes check my toon, collect free stuff and sell it.

And before anyone screams it... it IS ok by the eula... *I AM* the one doing the clicking myself...

LOL, luckily for me my job has lull periods in the day. So spending 30-40 seconds in logmein is no biggie and has very little impact on my productivity. Hell 80% of the time I have to wait on ******* to get me data to analyze before i can even DO my damn job :P

Yesterday, I watched Isotope-5's go from between 220k-240k to 160k in a matter of 3 hours....

Undercutting is going to happen. If I go to the GTN to sell something, and I see the listings in a consistent range... I will undercut by literally a FEW credits... Just enough to put me at the top of the list. Some people however, will undercut by 10, 20, 20 even 40%... why? I mean, really... why?

It's a free market. You are free to price gouge, and others are free to crash the market..

Predatory pricing is something to be fought. I'm all for people making a decent profit margin for their efforts, but predatory pricing deserves to be PvPed.
