Looks a lot like jedi knight 2 jedi outcast to me, glad to see I was not the only one who noticed it.

I am not sure it looks better than Skyrim on my PC or F1-2011 or even Deus ex HR.

Good job with those screenshots. You can obviously tell the difference between the first SWTOR screenshot and the other two. Definitely not from the same game.

I agree, SWTOR's graphics are terrible. Pixelation even on highest settings.

The second link of FFXI isn't FFXI. Think its FFXIII. It even says so in your link. "fxiii03-1.jpg"

First link for SWTOR is not SWTOR. A Jedi Sentinels can't use Force Lightning or something along the lines.

Yeah...Your thread just got pointless. And lost all merit.

I understand what the OP is saying, and he clearly spent some time putting this together, but it is still pretty pointless. The graphics for every new MMO that come out don't have to be better than everything else already out there. Clearly Bioware decided to opt for decent graphics, but not to push the envelope.
It is not a big deal. The graphics are fine. Get over it.

In fact nearly everything you said about FFXIV is incorrect. The game was an utter failure, and I for one am glad Bioware didn't make design choices like Square-Enix did.

SWTOR also has copy and pasted terrains/building/caves But not as evident as FFXIV.

Games are more accessible to a broader audience if their graphics don't require high end hardware. It's very difficult to provide a balance that looks gorgeous on high end systems that is still playable by the 3+ year old PCs...

Considering the competition in the MMO market, I can absolutely understand their decision to tone it down slightly.

That said, I upgraded by GPU (560Ti) and Overclocked my CPU (i7 920) to 4GHz for this game and still can't run max settings with AA forced on.
I think they're in a fairly happy medium, personally.
