I'm not really "against" anything. I am merely suggesting alternatives for leveling. After 7 years in WoW, I had every class 85+ and four of those at 90. The idea of rolling a new character was daunting knowing I could either quest (for the hundredth time), grind BGs (again), grind dungeons (for the 5th time), or pay someone to RaF and just take the levels.

This provides a simple alternative for people who might like to try a different AC for their character. So, if I have a Sniper already and want to try OP, I could just roll an OP and grant it 50 levels. Or maybe I want to change up from Guardian to Sentinel. Just park my guardian and roll a sent. BAM. Now I can go give it a shot without having to waste time leveling another one. Of the 8 classes (16 ACs) available in the game, this would not be a game breaker, but might actually inspire others to step outside of their comfort zones and give another Class or AC a try.

Agreed. I understand the need for some restrictions, but this is just a bit overboard.

No if you actually had a clue and knew what you were talking about you might actually realize that I have called out Bioware as well as compliment them. But I wouldn't expect you yo actually know what you are on about with me. Broad brush condescending remarks are the weapon of choice for you as can be clearly seen especially in your recent posting history.
I was just generalizing. I never called you out on being a Biodrone, and I haven't seen you zealously defending this company, so I won't... yet. It all depends if I see another Andryah clone in you.

I'm just pointing out hypocrisy, and it's worked out extremely well at the moment!

Glad to see you both worked that out

It's a great idea (both the insta-55 and the XP slider), Superman, and it's great because it provides yet another choice for players to enjoy the game the way they want to enjoy it. It's not "pay to win" as has occasionally been suggested; rather, it is "pay to level cap." If anything, those players would need to have some end-game characters already leveled, as they are going to be at a huge disadvantage with their under-geared, under credited, new 55!

Funny.... i just pictured these poor newb 55s, panhandling on Fleet and Black Hole....

How is rushing to the level cap story driven? This isn't WoW.....

Who's to say what is fun for one is fun for all? Maybe some people want to level the regular way, slow and steady with no perks or bonus XP. Maybe the guy next to him wants to just add water and have a 55. When it comes to choices for playstyle and overall game enjoyment, neither side is right nor wrong. It is ALL subjective. All I am doing is suggesting the ability to move as fast OR as slow as you choose. Giving someone a choice is not a bad thing. Limiting or removing choices however is pretty sad.

Thanks. I thought it was a pretty clever idea myself. BWEA makes money on the CCs and the players get to decide how fast/slow they get to level. It's a Win-Win. And lol @ "these poor newb 55s, panhandling on Fleet and Black Hole"

Any word on when this (or something like this) will be implemented? I freakin' had to miss out on DXP this past weekend, and I'm not happy...
