This 100%. The cadence for a Large expansion is 1.5 to 2 years. That means if we're getting 1/4 of an expansion then we should be expecting one every 6 months (9 months with delays). Why aren't we hearing about the next one? Is it even in production?

Of course, they tell you nothing and people are still crying.

So, really, the obvious problem here is not Bioware's lack of information or too much exposition.

The problem is that everyone is cray-cray.
No, people aren't crazy. They have expectations based on the marketplace for MMO's this size. It's like EA doesn't realize we've all played multiple MMO's and expect one with this budget to at least match the cadence of the typical popular mmo's.

What i wanna see is at least 1 (one) new high level area for each planet currently in the game. 1 new class for the Republic and Empire each, starting from level 1 of course (use your imaginations as to what these classes might be,Star fighter pilot, Imperial Trooper or whatever). Space expansion including space PvP and a robust housing ability, rent a flat in Dromund Kaas, Coruscant or whatnot, with ability to customize it anywhich way you want.
There devs, get cracking

(Fear none of these things will ever happen though, and if they do it will be done halfarsed )

No I'm pretty sure everyone is crazy. If a game gives you great story, you complain the gameplay is terrible. They improve the gameplay, you complain that they are taking away from expanding the story. They give you transfers to a different server, you complain that the servers are dying. They merge servers, you complain that there are too many people on your server causing log in queues. They make your new content, you complain it's too different and isn't like the last content update. They give you content like the old one, you complain they are rehashing and question their originality.

This isn't a case of expectations. This is just plain old crazy. You try to justify your actions, but at the end of the day, you know what you are doing isn't really logical from any point of view.

Every gamer is crazy. And that it turn makes the developers crazy. Which makes the game crazy. Which makes the gamers crazy.

It's the Cycle of Crazy, Gamer style.

It is a full expansion

It's just chopped up over segments and packaged a content updates

you paid ten buck for Makeb and level 55 the. Another like six bucks for cathar

We got a new op and hard mode ops
We will be seeing some unknown pvp and even some talks about customizable hanger or some jazz
Of course we got a character editor as well

So a bunch or stuff came with this expansion but it is divided up as content updates and you don't have to pay extra for most of it l, which is pretty cool I suppose

Not true at all. IF Bioware reads the forums for feedback on anything that doesn't have 1000's of opinions posted to get a nice sample size, they are crazy. In-game metrics tell the story much more clearly than the forums. Exit surveys as well provide a large sample of things that contribute to quitting.

No, that's patches. Those are standard, always have been. It's what we pay our $15 a month for.

I have to agree with annabethchase. I don't think Gamers are crazy. I do think this game offers great story telling in a way that has not been done in an mmo before and is indicative of Bioware's story telling prowess however the game play and customization is generic at best. I don't think it is nuts to want them to raise the game play to the level of story telling or add new classes and start off planets for those classes. The idea with an mmo is that it is supposed to get better with time, in this case since this was BioWare's first this should have been a learning experience that they now have a grasp on .
I will comment on the server thing though, the complaint with server merges was chiefly that this game runs on an engine that has problems with high volume which leads to lagg and other issues. I can't speak for everyone but I don't mind a high populated server so long as I'm not disconnecting at very inopportune moments or experiencing
annoying lag spikes. Now I can't agree or disagree with you on the game play aspect because Bioware hasn't done much to improve it, so I would also ask that you reserve opinion on that until or if they do.

I suppose it could be considered an expansion just chopped up as you say but I remember Dragon Age by Bioware. When they dropped Lilia's (forgive my spelling) song or the other packs they called it DLC. They dropped at least 3 of these and each was DLC that you could buy or not but if you did they added a new aspect, a depth to the bigger story as a whole. So using Bioware's own standard what we are getting is DLC

The fact that they raised the level cap, at all, is enough in my book to consider Makeb an expansion. How good the expansion is or not is a completely different story but let's call it what it is, at least.
I say there aren't enough people like me voting in America. If there were then more people would be willing to admit their error rather than just doggedly sticking to it and pretending they are right when they are not and voting for people like Mit Romney. So I'll concede GW2 to you. I should have said City of heroes and the big commercial template that every MMO copies, WOW. WOW has had multiple expansions like the Lich King and most recently WOW Kung Fu Panda. City of heroes had the City of Villains expansion and multiple out of the box expansions that players had to buy.

Now if you have a difference of opinion that is fine, attack the merits of the point's I make , if there are flaws in my logic then by all means point them out but don't impugn my intelligence with personal attacks.
