Well i notice that the seed is usually, and the keyword here is usually, around that 1 big bad creature that is the boss of that land. You find him and the area he roams around, the seed is most likely in that area. Just watch his path and sneak in there when he is furthest away, i seem to find the seed, usually, every time.

Learn from the HK scan quests.
I did not have a single problem finding anything with the seeker droids and HK was EASY to get. Some of you people just want everything handed to you with no effort. I found the seeker droid/macrobinocular missions to be a breath of fresh air in the game and something different to do. I really enjoy doing the Seeker/Macro binocular dailies.

Nah, watching paint dry is boring. However, sitting in the room and taking in the aroma is quite a different story

Yes it is a waste of time. A very engineered one. It's called a time-sink. The developers cant make real content so they will create repetitive pointless unrewarding tasks with the illusion of some chance of a reward you might like but most likely wont.

Some people find it fun. If you do not find it fun, simply don't participate. There is no need to cry about it. Not every part of the game will appeal to every person.
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.

I will hand it to the creators, they did come up with a good idea but clearly that is where the though process stopped and it all turned to junk. This thing can't pin point the side of a barn let alone anything under the ground. Do yourself a favor, complete the missions for it for the XP but skip anything else related to it as it is absolutely worthless.
see now your just doing it wrong. It works if you know how the enhancers work (the blue ones specifically). Every time I used the blue enhancers i either got a purple 28 or a rare item.

It appears there are alot of people who simply don't know how to use the mechanics of the seeker droid. So let me explain it

1. When it comes to the seeker droid questline the key areas you want to scan in the dread seed area are the roots of the gaint roots of the seed. you have 60%-80% of finding the dread seed. I have now done this on 4 characters, and only maybe 3-4 times total did it take me more than 5 times to find the dread seed. If you are still having trouble pop the blue enhancements, not the green ones they are completely worthless

2. The GSI mission are the easiest to do. You simply have to find the item that is pictured in your mission log and pop seeker droid, and wallah your done.

3. The Rare items on Makeb, Hoth and Tatooine. (Speeders and Dreadseed/Star Forgerer Armor). These will probably take the most time doing but if you use your Blue enhancemnts right then it won't take as long as you think. The reason why the Blue Enhancement is important because when detects something the green arc will get smaller and smaller the closer you are to the item it detects. And seeker driods will only detect purple mods and rare items for the most part. When the blue enhancer is very narrow your litterally 5 ft away from the item in the direction it tells you. simply pop your seeker droid directly in front of you and wallah, you have your rare item.
