I did. The rest was just the same drivel off the deep end stuff people have been posting over and over so I didn't think ti was worth rehashing for the millionth time.

So if this was a quick-run, then OP is in the right. But if it was a story-run, for a lack of a better term, then OP is in the wrong. If it wasn't stated what the run would be, then you all bad...
The protocol is when you enter the queue, expect to watch cut scenes. If you don't want to watch them, hit your spacebar and hope that the others did too. No part of the protocol is to tell others to hit the spacebar.

No. If you agree to the terms of a quick-run, then no one should have to state "push the spacebar"

I'm done with this thread, clearly I've lost my temper a little bit and I appoligize for some of the off the cuff nastiness I've spewed.

One final thought I have to say, BioWare, read this thread. Something needs to be done in-game to address the issue of being able to group with people that want you want from a flashpoint (ability to skip all convos vs skip no convos) spacebar is a horrible idea and all it does is bread animosity among the player base. This thread and hundreds like it that I've seen show that the community isn't going to come to a civilized conclusion on this and there should be something in-game to stop this endless debate.

I want to again apologize for my temper in this thread, it was uncalled for and while I do try and troll from time to time, I try and keep it light-hearted, I failed at that here.

I don't agree to anything. I press my spacebar through most cutscenes. If everyone else does, cool. If not, cool.

Why do people not discuss what they would like upfront before the run? It would solve 90% of the problems.

People who expect everyone to space bar without talking to them are wrong. People who expect to watch the cutscenes without talking to them are wrong. Is everyone so rushed you can't spend 2 or 3 minutes to figure out what everyone wants? No wonder there is a lot of headaches in Pugs.

What in the name of General Garza's Ample Hips makes you say that you are wrong if you expect to be able to watch the cutscenes when you enter a flashpoint?

I agree 100% that communication is key. When I run a FP (usually SM only) the first thing I ask is "speed run or full run?" That being said, there is a flaw in the design of the GF: if one person REALLY does not want to follow the rest (either way does not matter), then the only recourse is for that person to either leave the group and have a "deserter" debuff and not be able to queue again for 10 minutes, or ask to be kicked which is dependent on the rest of the group obliging the request.

And there are times like the OP describes where in the middle of a run time constraints change. And again, if the person with the issue asks nicely it is up to the rest of the group to oblige. If they choose not to then the one with the altered time constraints has a problem - be late to whatever he/she has to get to, or leave the group and not complete the quest (be it daily or otherwise).

These are issues for both the group and the individual to consider. Because if the one who is against the rest is the tank then the group has to weigh the wait time to get another tank. If the individual is a DPS then he/she has to weigh the time difference between simply following along or requeuing.
