That doesn't matter. They have as much of a say as you do. Actually, 3:1, their say easily outranks yours.

And, yes, getting a phone call is "your fault" as far as your group or FP are concerned. You are the one suddenly not having time, therefore "your fault."

The polite thing to do would be to apologize, let them know you have to leave, and then drop.

More importatanly GJ.... it was NOT the other players fault you got a phone call that nerfed your playtime.

Why should strangers be expected to adapt to your RL challenges? In fairness to them and to you..you probably should have not queued.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

What you mean "we" paleface? That's what you are not getting. Despite your hyperbole (a "million times," OK!) all that shows is that you are done with it. It's time to move on. Usually people do not say, "Please press the spacebar." They say, "Spacebar! Spacebar! For God's sake press the friggin' spacebar!" Perhaps your phrasing was somewhere in between, but the fact is it is irritating as hell and people are growing tired of it. I'm glad to see people are finally taking a stand here. Thank you for reporting your experience.

Now learn from it. If that's what you want, set the rules before hand and make sure people know you want a "spacebar event" so you won't be disappointed.

I did apologize, I did acknowledge that what I said was said in the wrong way. The bad thing is after I said that they ran backwards and kicked me. I understand that it is not my right to dictate other people's time however if we just simply moved on from what I said and completed the flashpoint there would be no problem. Its not like I was forcing anyone to do anything, if they just went at a normal pace we would of been fine but like I said earlier, we would pull a group of mobs, kill them, wait 1 minute before pulling another. All I really wanted was for the instance to go at a semi normal pace. Is that too much to ask for now?

Kicking you for that is really mean and unnecessary. I have known people to get kicked from groups for not spacebarring, so just remember people, try to be kind and patient with each other, a person who has had to deal with "OMG spacebar spacebar!" multiple times since launch and been kicked from a group probably wouldn't hesitate to vote kick someone for saying it once, even if that person is legitimately in a hurry and not intending to be rude.

So you're answer to rudeness is to be even ruder yourself? Didn't your mom ever teach you that two wrongs don't make a right?

Let me just give every single detail considering some of you are still looking at me in a bad way.

1. We were running the flashpoint at a very slow pace, which was fine for me until I got a phone call to speed things up
2. I tell them I received a phone call and asked them if we could "please move a little faster"
3. We finish the boss and get to the conversation
4. I say "spacebar' which I acknowledge now and acknowledged in the instance that it was the incorrect way of saying it.
5. I said to them I was sorry I said "spacebar" in such a rude way and could we please move on from it
6. Tank reacts to it and says "I can go a little slower"
7. He and his guildmates run backwards and then proceed to kick me.

Your opinions are your own and I respect that however I was not a demanding person the entire way. I acknowledged my faults and moved on. We would have to simply complete the instance in a semi normal pace for me to get out of their in time. Reminder, I got the phone call on the second to last boss in Hammer Station, there is not much left after that so all we needed to do is go from the insanely slow pace to a normal pace to finish the instance on time, I honestly don't believe I was asking for too much.

Yes. The people who start off with absolutely no respect for others deserve zero consideration. Goodbye. If you can't take the 20 seconds to type, "Hey, I just got a phone call and my time has been cut short, mind if we spacebar through the dialogue?" you are lacking serious social skills or are an (bleep)hole and replaceable. Learn to work with others or suffer the consequences of your lack of caring.

Arlon, you're not bad at twisting things, ironic responses, and putting words in other peoples mouths, I'll give you 4/10 troll points.

I got backfilled into a FP last night because the DDs rage quit on the second boss encounter. Took me less than 60 seconds of polite conversation while running half way across the map and a bit of encouragement and it was easy peasy. I imagine those DDs were still waiting to queue up after I went to bed given the Queue was about 60-90 minutes long for DDs. Heaven forbid they were polite and tried to work together with what they had.
