Nope, i dont queue because i dont want to PvP.
Only time i queue is when i actively want to PvP and then i usually hang around the PvP vendors and the PvP daily station.

Of course scripted fights are always unique.

I havent done pvp in a long time i used to do it to get a somewaht useful weapon for lvl 50 but there are real options now for weapons at 50.

I would like them to remove pvp from TOR so that they stop nerfing classes i like to play in the name of pvp balance.

OP:

PvE'ers don't PvP for pretty much the same reason why PvPers refuse to PvE would be my guess- the simple fact of the matter is that neither side quite likes nor understands the other. Like all sports, you either enjoy them or you do not and, unfortunately, it also brings out the same level of passion and dissent if you haven't noticed from the general tone of the postings already.

Basically, in effect, you're asking a bunch of puzzle lovers (PvEers) whether or not the gear required for tackle football is what's keeping them back. So, of course, you're going to get responses chock full of cracks about 'roid rage (childishness) and bullying (gear grinding) etc, etc, etc, etc.

Now, some of us who prefer PvE don't think that every PvPer is some knuckle-dragging slack-jawed yokel- we do understand that you are in it for the camaraderie and teamwork brought from honest competition against the challenge that other players give them just as not every PvEer is after some Monty-Hall lottery, they are in it for the camaraderie and teamwork brought from honest cooperation in finding a solution to the challenge before the group with their fellow players. This is why every once in a while you will still hear the terms: Competitive vs Cooperative play- they are just two completely different play styles.

Problem is that so many insults and slights have been flung against and between both groups for so long that any odds of anyone from either side being able to take even the initial steps into the other's type of gaming out of honest curiosity has been crushed by cruelty and viciousness long ago. And that, would be why many PvEers don't PvP and PvPers don't PvE- it's because the second that anyone trying to try the other side even mentions something, they often find themselves booted before the mean remarks can even finish posting.

It's sad, but, unfortunately, that is simply the world that we live in.

I don't queue because I don't queue. if I happen to queue I will queue for pug ops or fp but never PvP

I am not interested in PvP and I consider it an annoyance in questing areas.

Mostly this. Although there also isn't much 'patience' out there for someone who is just starting out in TOR to pvp no matter if they are lvl 10 or lvl 55 and are not yet that good at it. Last real fun i had pvping was MxO (Matrix on Line) b/c they seemed to think that more folks that were good at PVP = more fun pvp all around. They took time to 'teach' you (even folks on opposing factions). Also maybe because it was a smaller more mature community. Not adverse to PVP - even have all toons on a Pvp server on 'that' Blizzard game but here and the attitude I've run into meh too elitist for no reason. So no wait times wont mean any difference to me.

Right! Those planetary "daily" missions are where the true dynamic end game content comes in huh?! You never know which NPC you'll get your yellow light from...is it the guy on the left or the guy on the right...so much variety and anticipation. Toss in some wild and crazy kill stealer, and no mission is ever the same...right?!
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

indeed, you know it IS KINDA STUPID to say "oh pv(x) is better than pv(y) because (*z)

z=dumb *** hypocritical reasonings that can be EASILY applied to the other PV

pve is no more challenging than pvp

pve is all about learn the boss mechanics and that is it.

pvp is all about learning to how to achieve WZ objective ,while prevent the opposite team from achieving the objective and that is it.

both PVs have issues and problem and both have great features. anyone who think otherwise is a biased moron.
