You're joking right?

There is most definitely an in-game economy. In every video game.

Hence why EVE online hired actual economists to handle a credit-removal, making sure it didn't have a massively negative impact on the game.

And why many economics students have been given projects that involve studying in-game economies.

Many people ignore their CCs, or buy packs and sell them unopened. Or sell unlocks.
I gave up two months ago on selling any stuff from the CP : I'm just deleting them and/or vendoring them if possible.

This week, from two CPs, I got 40k crédits. I was happy.

Rather wasteful, IMO.

You could make a reasonable amount of credits by not deleting items.
But, you can do what you please. Worry about credit booms, however, is an overreaction. 1 Revans mask would net more of a profit than 100+ booms.

*Let me guess; the CM has become self-aware and is currently taking over the military industrial complex and is designing robots that can time-travel?

*Obviously I did not read the OP
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?

Is this referral mic on? It's free stuff and stuff, in game.

Didn't occur to you to just sell the packs and make about 20 times that amount?
Click my link please, I'm almost out of Cartel coins - http://www.swtor.com/r/Sh6HPh

You know those cartel coins you get each month with your sub, which you seem to think you can only spend on cartel packs??

Well...

Protip 1:
Buy Cartel Armors directly off the Cartel Market and resell them on the GTN at market rates.

Protip 2:
Buy popular unlocks directly off the Cartel Market and resell them on the GTN at market rates.

Protip 3:
Buy cartel packs directly off the Cartel Market AND instead of opening them..... resell them on the GTN at market rates.

Any of these tips will net you waaaaaaaaay more credits then any amount of credit booms you get opening up random packs. If you find earning credits in this manner is somehow distastful to you.. by all means..set up a character on a starter planet and open up a charitable contribution program issuing credits (or gear bought with credits) to deserving young characters on the many populated starter planets.

Of course.. you are free to continue doing what you are doing and posting a complaint about the CM each month. It makes zero sense to me.. but... your subscription, your cartel coins, your choice. But if I see you again next month..Ima have to add you to my /ignore list.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

Just to be "picky" about this

Technically, for each credit boom that enters the economy, a certain number of sellable items appear too, and given the drop rates of credit boom and sellable items, we can safely guess the average in-game monetary value of the items entering the economy is greater than the credits that appear thanks to credit booms.

OP why is it that you always making exaggerated remarks like about not being able to sell a Revan's Mask for 50k, the crystals incident, and so forth. Personally, I don't know why BW forum moderators put up with your nonsense where on the wow forums you would have been suspended/banned long ago.
