Edit: Which is a shame, would love to play Jawa
SirCopperfield, who was hater of Gnomes in WoW, would probably be hater of Jawas in this case.

I think he's saying that those cutscenes have a template for where the player will be and what they'll be doing. That template likely requires body types 1-4. For example, you take a dark side choice and shoot a guy in the head, but if your character isn't the right size, your blaster might not be aimed at your enemy in the cutscene.

He's just saying he thinks cutscenes would have to be redone to make a smaller player character possible. And that it could be a prohibitively large amount of work.

Who are these 3 species? Inquiring minds what to know. One of the main reasons we got the Cathar is because they were deemed a popular community choice in early polling. The Cathar were also put into the CM and we were told future species would depend upon their performance....therefore, leaving the species feature up to us to endorse or not endorse it with our Cartel Coins. As a result, the next species should be a highly community-driven choice. Will there be an official poll to determine which of the 3 will be picked?
Tortuga is what I would like to see. that is all I really have to say about this subject.

But...
All that really stuck to me about that Live Stream was this.

Q: SSSP – Super Secret Space Project?
A: We never should have talked about it. Now it just sounds we are mean to you guys by not talking about it. Let me think about it before the meet and greet in 3 days. Let me see if I can give you something about it. Yes it exists and it is something we are doing specifically based on your feedback.
They never should have talked about it?
I do not want to derail the thread to much on this but I think the reason they said this is because they really have nothing. When they first mentioned it they really had nothing at all and did not have plans to even make it. It was just a thought that was on there minds and someone slipped up and said it when they were not supposed to. Then they got all this backlash on it and are now trying to think of something to do. That they still have nothing to show us.
They are probably going to go out and render a picture of a ship to show us at the Meet and Greet to try and make us be quite on it for a bit longer. Sorry to be so negative about it but I think they are just blowing smoke.

Oh and sorry for going off subject on that part of my reply.

You make a valid point. Maybe if they do another expansion (full sized), they could add smaller races and modify cut scenes.

Some of the devs have mentioned previously that they were trying out the stuff from the SSSP and it was really awesome, but that it wasn't in a state to be able to show us. Unless they were completely lying, they at least have something. Whether or not it's what people want it to be is something else entirely. My take is that they mentioned it WAY too early, when they still wouldn't have anything to show for a long time, and that if they had held off on talking about it until it was closer to being able to show then they wouldn't be hounded about it all of the time.

I really think those are both in the consideration, and I'm going to put my bet on Bothan for the 3rd. What I really want is Zeltron but I'll take any of 'em. Love new species/

Even so, neither Ugnaughts nor Jawas speak basic. Jawa speach I might be able to handle for a time, but I would stick a fork in my ears if I had to listen to an Ugnaught for more than one conversation.

My vote is Nautolan then Togruta.

Nice part about "playable" races is, they are usually "city" dwellers and can speak the language. It would not be tough to get some little actors for the voices.

Nothing Small. No Yodas, No tiny elephants, no Ewoks.

The one thing I HATED about Guild Wars, is in PvP, you had to play a little munchkin Teletubby in PvP, or not play at all.
