I'm not emotionally worked up, all my arguments are reasonable and there's no post in this thread complaining that this takes space from planned arcs..

I'm not overreacting, we just seem to value lore way different. To me it's one of the most important part of this game. I don't distinguish important lore from not important. It's part of the history of his universe and should never be in CM.

That.

no, but its the same scope as the Shourd cutscenes, its someone talking, and ive asked since to you those cutscenes are fluff and are exactly like our companions quests, if it was also fine to sell on the CM, also it integrates with our characters because there is a whole chain of quests about the Shroud where we go after him ;].
Also andryah i will no longer keep this going with you, because its the same as that talk we had for the first time, where you claimed for many pages that the game had new FPs, till you finally admited there was none, so i am done, have a good day andryah.
PS: and no aside from a few companions, many of the companions talks are just... talk, they do no integrate with your class quests.

There is NO status quo in MMOs. They constantly evolve and change over time.

Your concern over throw-away cutscenes are no more (or less) relevant then players who are concerned that an armor skin released and only available in the packs =/= not status quo either. Both concerns are expressed out of proportion to the context of the game itself IMO. You are entitled to the concern, and I am entitled to rebuttal the concern.

If you want to maintain status quo in game play DO NOT play MMOs.

Assuming a credit boom gives ~50k each (I used 5 and got 260k, so that's not entirely unfeasable), I could use the 4 datacubes to give me 3,200,000 credits right off the bat for 16 characters I have. Nice return on investment, eh? THEN it gets worse. I could create a character, speed run them through Korriban and DK and run them to Nar Shaddaa to use the datacubes to collect 200k plus whatever he/she earned doing the speedrunning. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum until you get filthy rich exploiting a HUGE bug. This loop has since been closed since the credit booms have been removed. For those of you that are trying to make excuses for it to come back, understand that if they CAME BACK, you'd see those 15k medpacs, 25k stims and whatnot QUICKLY balloon into millions, billions or more EACH because of the abusers of the bug to get infinite credits for very little work.

I understand there's no status quo to the game as whole. As I mentioned, I'm talking only about status quo of lore in SWTOR. This is something that should not be tampered with and I believe most games don't even touch on this subject.

There is no status quo in lore in MMOs either... at least not MMOs that live and expand beyond their launch year.

As for Star Wars Lore... 30+ years of the Lucas empire also demonstrates there is no status quo in lore. Even George can, and did, undermine his own lore creations... all in the name of commercial profit. Jar Jar Binks.... anyone??... anyone?? Cheezy toys sapping off the lore for a buck.. anyone.... anyone?? etc. etc. I don't begrudge anything George did over the years really....it was his IP and his Lore to do with what he wishes. But it exemplifies the invalid nature of your declaration IMO.

Thats Great Eric...
However, i'd like to have the 240 Cartell Points (4x60) back i've just spend early this Morning to unlock the cubes for my other Chars.
I feel pretty betrayed right now.
Books let us imagine the impossible.
Movies let us see the impossible.
Video games let us do the impossible.

Everything you wrote have pissed fans over the whole world. So why duplicate that in this great game. All they have to do is stay clear off making anything lore related to CM.

Easy fix, take them out of the collections. I won't be buying anymore packs until this gets fixed, as the datacubes take up a valuable artifact slot, and this morning prior to reading the patch notes, I opened a cartel pack and got TWO of them. Absolutely useless.

Now, you could argue that they are so worthless and that you'd rather have a gold plated butter knife for your smuggler or agent.... but that is arguing fluff over fluff.
I love how everything they add to the game now needs to be purchased via Cartel Coins and is considered "Extra" or "Fluff".

So that's it? The game is done? Everything from here on out is "fluff"? Nothing else? Why am I still paying a subscription then?

Money from the Cartel Market should fund Cartel Market content right?

Correction: random fluff. Gambling is the new content.
