I enjoy watching people claim this as well. It's quite obvious it doesn't.
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

They've already chosen the Cartel Market. You haven't seen anything new that promotes actually switching to a Subscription, have you? Okay then.

That doesn't mean they're going to ease up on any restrictions for F2Pers either though.

Only the meek get pinched. The bold survive.

The value proposition for subscription vs F2P has remained largely constant since November.

Hence, the relevance of your closing comment:

The CM has little to do with the value proposition to subscribe, other then in peoples imaginations and personal bias against micro-transaction content (almost all of which can be completely bypassed in this game via the GTN).

Personally, I think people are nuts to play this game with any sincerity and not subscribe. F2P is to let people taste the core content and do so on the cheap and with restrictions.

Yeah, if you're a PvE'er and/or crafter, but if you're a PvP'er well then...

mostly, my point is that you don't listen to other people. a narrow focus on your dogma or whatever has led you to be such a fan of bioware has clouded your view of reality. if you paid closer attention to what people were saying, and tried to understand their problems from their perspective, you would be wiser and a better person for it. then your posts might be more focused on how bioware could improve the game for everyone instead of going down a path that encourages people to quit.

also, bioware does not have a good direction for this game. they have demonstrated a fairly significant lack of leadership. they don't know what is best for this game. that does not mean the players do, those are two different things. just that bioware has shown they don't know how to run an MMO, and that's why they had to go f2p so fast.

They already decided.

The subscription and the consumer lost by KO.

Personally, I think people including myself are nuts to subscribe to this game giving its lack of polish and Hero engine-failure.
I believe it will go even more F2P in the relatively near future - and make enough money to sustain itself that way. The new Collections system is an excellent example of a way to get money from a F2P crowd. As a bit of an altaholic I really like the Collections system.

2.1 was a total abomination. I can't imagine how the doctors (and original team) feel about what EA has done to their game. Working on something for so long, putting so much of yourself into it only to have it exploited so transparently like this.

What's worse is that they've done absolutely nothing about it. Try to exploit both subscribers and F2Pers is going to kill this game just as others have said here in this thread, and many others just like it.

Its true, check the forums and there is ALOT of negative feedback for the nickle and Dimeing in the CM.

I'm a sub who was buying Cartel coins regularly, but if its not going into improving the game I don't see what the point is. I'm personally not buying any more CC's till they start using the extra cash on real game improvements.

If they are not careful they are going to start loosing Subscriber profits too, not just CM.
