Well, I will not flame you. We can talk as we have been.

I can understand what your saying. You don't think a player can discover they don't like the AC they chose within 5 levels of the choice? I tend to think, at least from my perspective that they can.

I can't speak to how it is designed, only to what they have said. Before launch they said they would not allow AC change, then they changed their minds and publicly stated they would allow it, held to that for quite a few months...and then decided to change their minds again before launch.

That is based on public commentary. What that says to original design...well, take it as you will. What that means to you is up to you.

I wish it was something one could pay for in credits or associated with legacy. There was very little updates to legacy since it appeared. I'd not want to be forced to pay everytime because I'd switch into marauder for raiding or pvp (combat efficiency) and afterwards for PvE, visuals and wandering around fleet I'd prefer to have a look of a Juggernaut. :/

I guess it really depends on the person, this game has been way more unique then most MMOs I have played, like the classes/ACs are very well designed and as a veteran mmo player it took me time to understand it, i didnt get it right away. So I guess on a personal note, thats why I think it wont change much doing it so early.

Scrapper is great at PvP ganking and Sawbones is phenomenal at healing (especially if you have mouseover healing). If you think otherwise you're seriously playing them wrong.

Aren't roles, playstyle and skill tress a vary large part of what DEFINES a CLASS, as in pretty much the total extent of what defines a CLASS?

The very fact that they do fill different roles, have different skill trees, and different play styles MAKES them DIFFERENT CLASSES.

What that says to ORIGINAL design should be obvious as by your own admission, their first stance was that AC changes would not happen. I would posit the their first stance is original design.

They have held to their stance that AC 's are DIFFERENT classes since they made that statement before launch. They went to great lengths to add multiple confirmations that your choice of CLASS was PERMANENT and that once you start down a path, forever will it dominate you.

They have since made a single statement about AC changes "likely happening". That statement was made a long time ago, in a galaxy far away. We have heard NOTHING further from the devs, despite numerous lengthy threads, including this 115+ page thread and one on the suggestion forum. I do not know about you, but that absolute silence from the devs regarding what is so obviously a sensitive subject speaks worlds to me.

I do not expect to see class changes until this game is well and truly on the serious downfall, and they have no choice but to try to make it P2W in a last ditch effort to save it.

WHOA WHOA WHOA

What happened to the "one time" restriction that people wanted placed on class changes? Even the "out" that they tried to leave themselves, that it should be a "one time" only change with the option to go back if you did not like your NEW CLASS would not require you to pay more than once, nor would it allow the freedom to be a marauder for raiding and then switch back to juggernaut for aesthetic reasons.

Now you want to be able to CHANGE YOUR CLASS willy nilly?

I think they should allow free, unlimited AC changes via a trainer "boss." If you can sufficiently demonstrate competence in your current advanced class and defeat the trainer, you get to respec.

Yea, yea, I know. Then none of the people who want respec would be able to have it... But it was just a thought
I make useful, game-expanding suggestions.

Other people myself included said maybe a one time deal, dont think the person you are quoting ever said that, though I could be wrong.

Depends on the game, I dont believe thats the case in this game, those 3 things are what separate ACs, but aside from that there isnt any difference between the ACs in the base class.
