The Portable Chair is a SCAM!

Thank you for this. I saw the pictures of the chair and assumed that it was something we had asked for. Im sad to say I got it, then found out otherwise. Sure its probably not a "scam" on their part, but its a big slap in the face to the RP community.

The RP community is smaller than the PvP community, like at least 5x smaller.

If they don't care about PvP'ers, what makes you even begin to think they care about you guys?

You should have known better. I sympathize that it isn't what you guys would like it to be, but I kind of like that the chair is a regen device.

Did the OP check the Collections tab?
I'm going to assume he didn't.

Instead he is complaining that he didn't get something that RPers have been asking for - and he's right to complain, RPers should be given some of the things they have been asking for.
But he is complaining that the assumption he made (that was neither stated nor promised anywhere) was wrong.

No, OP, this is not Bioware's fault, this is your own fault.
You have a perfectly fine way of checking what the item is, through your Collections tab, before starting to look for it in Cartel Packs. You didn't. You assumed and you were wrong. No matter how you try to make it seem that it's their fault, the only thing you are right about is that a lot of the things the RP community has been asking for since launch are still not in the game. But other than that, you are wrong. They didn't "scam" you in any way.

Let's see those hard numbers.

There's no real reason that the chair can't double as a regen device and RP tool. Just make the duration long, like the Twi'lek racial dance, and bam, you've got an item appealing to a second group.

My imagination is just fine, and there is only so much imagination will do for you. How about the next time your bored, you go and imagine yourself in a new operation, or go imagine that PVP is balanced and fun and not full of stunlocks and OP classes? Like I said, there is only so much you can do with imagination, and according to you, the developers can stop now and go to the house cause thats all we need to have fun? Sorry to break this to ya, but we need a bit more then that.

Never said they did it on purpose just to piss off the RP'ers, but they did not really think about us either, I mean geez, make the timer last a "really" long time and boom, it appeals to everyone, and not just one group.
