Official launch in Australia/New Zealand

Great news to hear. Just one question: Have you or are you able to secure local servers?
If so I can guarantee that every player will transfer to servers that offer >50 ms.

If not there is no reason to change as we are already established.

Don't worry mate we have more than our share of loud mouth idiots too, the difference is the ones here in Australia and New Zealand are still too stupid to figure out how to work a computer

My thoughts on this announcement though is making me think EA will recycle the old WAR servers that were based in Aus. They are still physically here after all and not being used. If Australia post are anything to go by with the way they're acting with priority shipping, I won't receive my game until March anyway. It's been sitting waiting for a driver in Melbourne for 2 days lol

Why don't you just make the unofficial official aussie servers "oceanic" and let those guilds you placed on them for Early release do a free transfer - NOW.

Or, can't quite understand with all of the new servers being added, that one of them isn't designated oceanic. Why does it need to wait until March when everyone will have things setup 3 months into the game.

The timing is quite a bit off and is not a solution for those guilds that were placed on the servers that became the home for the oceanic folks

I regretted moving servers from the US to Oceanic in WoW because of the wankers that were on the australian servers. I dont think i will be making the same mistake again. I have an under 100ms ping, suits me fine. Ill be staying put.

would be great for aussie and nz servers , but a little late my main is 22, unless they give free sever change lol

LOL... there are 3.4k Oceanic players on US West servers (that are guilded, not sure how many with unguilded).

The Harbinger and Swiftsure where flagged as the unofficial oceanic servers.

Then you're lying about having long queues. I log on at 5pm GMT +9 (which is 12am PST), and I have either no queue or a maybe a 2-5 min one.

Bottom line: If you play during American peak times, oceanic players do not effect your queue. If you play during off-peak American times, then you either don't have a queue or it's very short.

This seems kinda pointless now! I mean unless we get free server transfers I won't change!
