The problem with the dev's response is that some classes can get good mods while others cannot. If all classes had similare mods in their belt/bracers this wouldn't be as big of a problem.

Can you be more specific? I mean I have not seen this as an issue anymore.... When it was it was the armoring slot that was the problem....

This is why you cannot blame anyone for have little to no confidence with the dev team. Ok they are starting to comment more, that is freakin awesome but they are so vague with PvP content I would find it odd if you were not worried.

They done it as a time sink. Like anyone with an ounce of common sense would bother. Bioware seriously has to be another daft decision. If that is by design then i have to wonder at the logic of your Combat team.

Maybe they don't realize that most ACs have this min/max pieces in one set or another, especially for enhancements. I used Sage instead of Knight stuff to get my BiS Enhancements. Saved a boat load..

every spec with a main stat modifier (9% usually) will have upwards of 3000 main stat in full conqueror mods. that's well beyond the DR curve for main stats, which makes all that aim (e.g.) "overpriced." the solution is to purchase low aim/high power mods and to augment with power rather than aim. said mods are only available from the individual mods vendor at outrageous prices (for the conqueror versions).

I haven't done the math for specs that do not carry a main stat modifier. this may be the case for them as well. I've only tinkered with my commando. the other toons are not full conq. and since I recently unsubbed and refuse to pay over $100 to transfer to an active server, I don't plan on gearing said other toons any time soon.

So if your particular class min/maxes with an item that is available in a cheap piece like a belt then those players get to grab the item for 3600 while everyone else has the convenience of paying 6000 comms for the item they need. Seems like a legit system you have worked out there.

No one is asking you to give these away free. But your pricing makes no sense. The pieces one tier down are 400 comms. This is about 1/3rd the price of the highest piece of gear (chest). Which means on ranked side they should be running about 3000 comms total (1000 ranked).
