I have to admit I'd really like hood toggle as well. That's one of those features that would cause me to immediately respond with:

Not sure what the technical issues are that have given them problems with this, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over this feature and I have several Jedi/Sith characters. I get that some people are obsessed with the hood toggle issue, but there are lot of people that don't think it's all that important. Most people probably aren't going to say "no, a hood toggle is a bad idea" but whether they would want it prioritized over new content, creating new species, the space project, new Cartel stuff, etc. is a different story. So I would suspect that has something to do with the fact that it hasn't been moved higher up the priority list. 100 or 200 people clamoring for the hood toogle could make a lot of noise in the forums and give the appearance of a huge outcry for something, but out of 500,000+ subs, that would still be a very small percentage of the playerbase.

Way I figure it, they've had one on the shelf for months and just can't decide whether to make it a ridiculously priced cartel item or an extremely rare pack drop. Oh the possibilities....

I have been wanting this feature since launch and have patiently awaited it, only for them to say "soon" at later telling us it is going to be pushed back due to art resources or some other reason. It is almost as bad as so many helmets forcing hood down when they would be much better hood up *cough all helmets using Darth Jadus' model cough cough*. It is just odd we have some helmets work with Sith Warrior hoods but not with Sith Inquisitor hoods and then not even a toggle to choose whether we even want to have it with the hood.
