I was really super-underwhelmed by it as well. I think it's cool that they are offering stuff. I wish they would offer MORE stuff. But they need to really re-think their pricing strategy LOL.

Hmm... with a dye module it could be quite ok. Think it's nice to see something that is less about spikes and big stuff. More neutral and regular. Could see myself perhaps using this on Mako in the early lvl:s, or Vette. I like to progressively give my characters more fantastical gear. Starting out my BH was pretty low on credits so they didn't have too much to work with. Then discard it when they actually had some money.

But I would not pay CC for it, would get it off the GTN and I would not pay too much for it either. Nice for some rp, but not for a lot of credits.

here we go.. opinions, opinions, opinions.

i say its the best armor in the entire game. you say its worth 9 cartel coins.

and it is by far the best looking armor in the game. not only this game but numerous other games as well. other developers should take note.

Hmm, I am underwhelmed by this armor set, but it isn't that bad. IMHO the colors they picked for it contribute greatly to the dull, generic appearance; I think with the right dye module it could look pretty nice. I could see this set being good for non-military, non-Jedi/Sith characters and companions like Mako, Talos, Doc, Vette, etc.

Still, for how (un)interesting it is, I would have rather seen it in a pack and gotten a more desired set for sale directly.

My thought is that they are using psychology triggers on the players, and it appears to be working.

First players complain that there is not good looking gear in the game.
Then players complain that the best looking gear is only on the CM.
Now, players are complaining that they are putting bland/ugly gear on the CM.



I can't wait for the next trigger.

You have to be kidding. There are easil a dozen jedi robes of all different types in the CM and packs. They have more than any other class archetype several times over.

That Huttsbane outfit is not any better an already exists in the game as non-cartel stuff, maybe with a slightly different color scheme.

Look how quick they were to put it on sale too.

I imagine the Turncoat outfit will go on sale on the next update.

I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.
