This has been stated over and over again and I will continually repeat it because it is a mark of shame on their part.
They don't know how to make it work with the engine.
A feature that every other mmo seems to have that causes no performance issues whatsoever, has baffled Bioware. It's not even about the chat bubbles, it's that they don't know how to do it.

Lol if I ran an accounting firm and asked an employee to do up some financial statements for a company, and said employee responded "Sorry Log, I don't know how to do a balance sheet," he'd be fired and out the door in an instant.

Disney, start firing. In fact take this game, and give it to a more capable developer

You know, this is a very good point. Every MMO that has come out recently wants to be the next Beatles, but they're all just the newest pop star boy band. Except just a few nerds like them.

They themselves have stated that the content updates will be featuring items such as Flashpoints, OPs, etc, and not including the CM as content updates. Yes, we get CM features regularly, but those are not the same as the Content most of us are asking for when referring to Content. BW makes the same statement here.
But by saying "this is what players want" you are speaking for others. It is an absolute fact that not only is this just your opinion, you are likely not privy to any information to make that statement even remotely factual.

Therefore it is better phrased as 'this is what players want IMO". It will just save you quite a bit of headache if you make sure you speak for yourself only. Otherwise you will get folks like me correcting you on this error.

Could you be right? Certainly. Is it likely you are correct? Possibly. But it is not a fact yet that is how it was presented.

WLK brought two new Battlegrounds and two new Arenas. They brought a whole world zone dedicated to World PvP in the form of Wintergrasp.

Cataclysm brought two new Battlegrounds and a new World PvP zone, Tol Barad. They also created daily questing areas where enemy players would frequently encounter one another, with flying mounts disabled; Tol Barad Peninsula and the Firelands. Cataclysm also brought Rated Battlegrounds. Cross-server, mind you, so that there's an actual serious ladder to climb.

Mists of Pandaria has brought three new Battlegrounds, two new Arenas. They've introduced actual PvP dailies in their daily zones, giving you the option to either focus on PvP or PvE once per day, and the dailies you gain access to depends upon that choice. Flying mounts are disabled in this area. Mists of Pandaria also recently added a role-check for their random battlegrounds, as to balance healers and DPS in each team.

Conclusion:
Blizzard offers a hell of a lot more than just battlegrounds. Bioware released this game with 3 Warzones and one Open World PvP area; Ilum. Now we have 5 Warzones, but no more Open World PvP. Should that be considered a step forward or a step backward? Personally, I'd rather have 3 Warzones and a functioning World PvP zone. Standing on the fleet inbetween Warzones isn't a lot of fun.
And it took WoW over 10 years to offer that many PVP things to do, this game is two years old with 5 warzones currently available.

Now as for offering actual PVP objective world zones, I say sure, make something like that so the PVP community can have something to go do inbetween warzones.

And you come here and make a post to exactly prove that? And am sure most of the PVE'ers wouldn't welcome 2.2 either. End-game gear has to last for more than 2 patches!
The decisions you make simply blow my mind.

It won't help.... cause they're not related. Lag/ability delay is a server side issue. Adding better textures, lighting, shadows, etc will have no effect on the ability delay issue. If it's graphics related your FPS will drop and motion will be choppy, not delayed, If graphics are to much then slide them down.

And many of us do enjoy the graphics upgrade as we get new pc hardware. And that is why we are PC gamers. Our games can scale over time. A graphics update doesn't affect you, cause you would need to turn it on in your settings. All you've gained is more for the future and for some of us the present.

One of the biggest forums post I've seen here was about the graphics, in the first months of release, about the low rez character textures in game vs cut scenes... they couldn't ignore it and so they added a few new graphic options. For a mmo where you live with your characters people over time do find their graphics very important for a lasting appeal.
