Wait, PvP happens in [PvP] quests, in PvP zones, that have PvP rewards!?

What madness is this!?

I just wanna cap and leave. how about you let me cap, THEN kill me?

There is discussion over this? The quests are marked [PvP] - it is very clear what this implies.

Does ganking suck? Yes it does - but it is also a fact of life in OWPvP - it will happen. The repair costs are a tax levied on you if you attempt to do them solo or in undergeared (for PvP) groups. I get ganked every now and then (even though as an op exfiltrate + cloaking screen + sneak makes it easy to escape), usually from Guerilla, because some groups enjoy doing this. Complaining in General does not do anything - your tears are sweet. There are five other dailies to do - go do them instead (yes the Heroic takes longer in the PvE area, but it is entirely doable).

I have 4 55s, have run Xeno 8 times and do the dailies for each one, but I only do the PvPs on my main with guildies in the morning before the PvP starts up, and even then I expect 2-4 ganks. As stated above, it is a tax. The credits from the dailies more than pay for my repair costs and crew missions during this time, plus extra. You are losing no money overall.

I do not particularly enjoy competitive PvP, and prefer co-op (thus PvE) so I don't do them on my alts. In the end, you are missing 2 blue rep items (plus a green if you win the bonus droid roll) a day - you can get the equivalent rep from the world droid quest or from one WB ops run.

Ganking happens in OWPvP. Deal with it. Accept that it might take one extra event to get you to max rep if you ignore the PvP quests. Complaining does not do anything and only makes the gankers want to do it more. Sometimes a situation sucks, but it is that way for a reason (as the complete removal of OWPvP would be terrible - some epic 16v16 ops fights have been had on Ilum/Outlaw between my guild and republic partners).

Either accept it or go do something else (FP, Op, BH, X, lots of PvE with great rewards out there).

No. You do NOT need to run into a PVP area to max your rep. You can easily max out the rep for this event by doing "only" your 5 PVE dailies, 2 world bosses, 2 weekly OPs bosses and the one-off missions.

This event is for EVERYONE. This includes PVPers. If you don't like their tiny portion of the event, DON'T DO IT.

None of the quests tell you to kill other players. Which is why its not a PvP quest, but a PvE quest in a PvP area.

The objective in Huttball isn't to kill the other players, its to score points by getting the ball to the goal. IT IS STILL PVP.

PVP is more than just "kill the other guy". Just because a mission has an objective doesn't make it NOT PVP.

These two missions are marked PVP and in an open PVP zone. No, you aren't TOLD to kill the other players, but doing so can get you faster access to the node in the center and to mobs which only spawn every 7 minutes. There are reasons to do so, whether you choose to acknowledge them or not. It isn't required, but it is an option.

I do not whine about the PvP quests in Gree event. But to be honest, I do not like them.

I was always representant of the idea that there should be no open-world-PvP on PvE-servers. However, to get max reputation, players are forced to do these quests and are automatically marked PvP-flag on.

Not to mention that the situation usually is that 4 groupped up PvP players gankin PvE players without any need for effort simply because they outgear them. There is not way how a group of 4 PvE players can beat group of 4 PvP players. Worst part is that the system cannot be bypassed. Because the area is free-for-all instead of republic-vs-empire and because there is not way to form a bigger group then group of four, the system does not allow to group up larger number of players to beat the annoying PvPers who block the pylon.

The situation is similarly annoying the PvP players. To be honest, I do not see any reason why a PvP player should be forced to do PvE quest during any event when he is on PvP server.

What I would see as better solution would be that players should be able to to chose between PvP and PvE quests and be able to reach the maximum number of reputation without the other ones. That is not the case nowdays, because of the silly one week limitation of the event. If one wants to reach the Legendary status, he must earn as much relics as possible during that time, so he can convert them to reputation in the following weeks when the event is not on...

The rest of your post is debatable and subject to opinion, but this is objectively wrong. Nobody is forcing you (or anybody) to do those quests, in any possible meaning of the term.
They don't give anything unique, they are not needed to cap the weekly cap even on a single character, and even if you say "but I want to cap my reputation to legend in one week", that's a self imposed objective that is very clearly not somebody "forcing" you. That said, it's also a pointless objective as the event is RECURRING and so you're not losing your ONE TIME CHANCE to get reputation.

If, with all this said, you still feel the need to complete those quests, I have 2 things to say:
1) Go to a doctor cause you may have some form of OCD. And yes, it can be a serious illness.
2) They are Pvp quests, marked as such, in a pvp area. By going there you implicitly accept this fact. Period.

Or you could just get as much as you can during the event, then get more when it comes back, and more when it comes back again, as it was designed, instead of rushing through it and growing tired with the event because you've already capped it.

But hey, who needs to have content for later, when you can just be FIRST! and then complain that there is nothing to do?
