Thereby making you flagged for PVP, even if you never intended. Than this meandering hoard swarms on you and now your PVE quests are over, no way you can defeat 4 to 6 PVP players vs you.. You normally have to leave the PVE party your with, go back to a neutral area and wait for the PVP flag to drop. I have lost sooooo much of my gaming time in this exact scenario. More than once I have logged off for the night. No more time available to waste. Many, many times our PVE party has had to change instances to avoid the gankers. No and I do not go into the Gree PVP area. Have not since the first week. Avoid it like the plague. I am on a PVE server for a reason.
What you are describing is almost definitively griefing. If I'm not mistaken, BioWare has noted that specific type of behavior as griefing, and encouraged players to report other players who they see behaving in this way.

Anyone whining about PvP in a PvP area should probably just do the PvE quests instead (which there are many more of than [PvP] quests).
And which of those [PVP] quests involve killing other players in order to complete them?

All of them, if there are other players around who are trying to use the resources you need to complete the quests. Of course if there are no other players on, you can still complete the quests, because BW knows not everyone plays during peak hours.

Well, OP, you summed up the main component of the Forums: People post moronic, nonsensical, whining complaints, and are (rightfully) assaulted by the sane members of the community. On the flipside, people post very sensical, non-whining concerns or suggestions, and the INsane members of the community go ballistic. What you seem to have found is one of the latter. A lot of it. And it's really quite common. However, it's been aggravated by the Event's release. Some folks will do anything to make sure they have a large supply of helpless players to crush between their fingers......
Reminder: Mechanized posting is for non-trolling business only. Enjoy your stay.

You are obviously trolling at this point what with your comparisons and statements that only warzones are PvP. You make claims that these are PvE quests because player confrontation isn't specifically required, but the same could be said for warzones. Standing in line to collect the orbs is the same as letting one team win a warzone so you can win the next one. I can cap turrets and run the huttball to the endzone without needing to engage in combat, but the idea of the game is to force confrontation to win.

The gree quests are no different where the objectives can be completed without confrontation, but the point of putting it in an area that flags you for PvP is to force confrontation to get your quest done. If I just want to get the quests done, then I will avoid player combat as much as possible, but have no issue with those who force the issue.

If are in a FFA zone then your accept the risk that you might be repeatedly killed while trying to complete missions. These missions in this zone are optional and can easily be skipped, which is what I do and all I want to do in this zone is kill other players.

If you are a PvE player with no expertise and get killed in 3 globals then you can either move on or vent in general or using /say for opposite faction but if you chose the 2nd option then I will show no mercy.

Exactly this ^

On another note, I was satisfied beyond belief last night as I forced 2 players offline as they raged about PvP, must have killed them at least 7-8 times lol.

Was soooo fun.
