And 30 seconds later the pylon resets. OMG what a pressure!!!!! I can't bear it! If it would not reset for another 10 minutes, i would agree with you. But as things are, your argument is just a pathetic excuse for fighting where it would be not necessary...

That's not pvp. It's still pve you can call it anything, or put it anywhere, inside or outside a pvp area.
Sorry -- let me rephrase.

Since none of us are BIOWARE DEVELOPERS -- we don't know WHY they did it this way, how they implemented any of it, etc.

The point is. It is in a PvP area, it is marked a PvP quest -- expect PvP to happen. End of story.

Maybe that's the case now, but the first time the Gree even was here there were enough people doing the quests on POT5 that if you didn't kill the guys activating the pylon you might not get a chance to turn your orbs in (1 minute cooldown on the pylon, orbs disappear after 6 minutes). Lacking player interest in a PvP quest doesn't make it a PvE quest.

WAR: there are keeps, in pvp areas, accessible and defensible by players, that have keep lords that require large numbers of people to kill them (even discounting player interference), that give not only "commendations" but actual pvp gear when killed.
And yes, that's a pvp activity.
You see, you made the error of assuming there would be other players (defenders) to fight. I said nothing about it. Just a plain pve operation labeled pvp, in a pvp area where you can not fight any players (because there is only the operations gruop), and pvp rewards. For me, it seems pve. And i start to belive you would actually take that for a pvp operation. Blindly.

And there is only 1 person you have to wait for??? most of the time middle is packed with ppl all fighting if all would wait for eachother it will take 10 min to finish 1 node and another 10 min to finish that quest of.

So yes its necessary to fight for it, it saves time.

And some ppl like to do achievements wich needs x amount of kills in an open world pvp area, to those its also necessary to kill you.

You can twist and turn it all the way the fact stays : PVP area, With pvp quests in it that gives Warzone commendations at the end

So basically, your whole point is you are mad that you were killed in a PvP area by the big bad PvPers. Got it.

Ultimately you walked in into an open PVP area and PVP happened, you made that choice and complaining about it is just silly.

As for Bioware producing events with PVE and PVP content, that's a wonderful thing as gives some content to both sides. What Bioware should do is produce is a set of missions, PVE and PVP, that mirror the same rewards but completing one version (PVE or PVP) precludes the other version of the mission from being completed for that daily. This should stop PVE people from feeling the need to complete the missions in PVP areas. And PVE people can't complain that PVPer's have twice the opportunity to get the rewards as only one mission type can be completed per day.

Why can't it be more like, those who want to fight, shall fight each other, those who does not, shall be left alone. Then everyone could do the quests they want, access all areas, and there would be peace. But some pvp players are just like bulls...you see something red, you bang against it with your head...

What is the point of your "PvP operation" comments? You aren't talking about something that exists in the game, just a wild maybe idea you threw together yourself.

What if we had a WZ that paid Elite comms instead of WZ comms? Would it be PvE? It doesn't matter because it doesn't exist and we've been given no reason to believe it would.
