ITT

PvE'ers post about how PvP rule sets are made only for lowbie ganking players and only that.

ITT

I laugh because everyone sounds like forced entry victims.
I have been playing for a month. I deserve a level 50, full Battlemaster gear and the epic mount that you looted from Soa. I will get this all in 1.2 because I am the 99%

one other thing .. PVP is not nearly as popular as some people think
Very true indeed.

lots of PVEers commenting..

Good amount of people would LOVE a PVP server that was closer to UO style than WoW..

let us kill and loot eachother..

let us capture things and occupy them..

I don't care if i'm a level 1 and getting ganked by level 50.. thats PART OF THE FUN.. knowing at any moment your day could be ruined..

I really wish a competent company would buy Darkfall Online... It's still the best PVP mmorpg out there..

Sadly the big studios give no props to TRUE PVPers.. just 1 server and a couple thousand people would fill it and play on it..

the rest could go kill their monsters and do quests.. and jump into Warzones w/out worrying about losing a thing

WIN FREAKING WIN

Difficult to say what Biowar intends or plans for the world PvP. Having come from a PvP focused game from the get go (aka DaOC) this feels rather tame. I just left a contested zone and I didn't see anyone either. Not higher or lower level than I and I'm 21. I expected it, but it just isn't there.

In fact, I think as others said it is how the game is/was designed. I rarely see "ANYONE". My side included. It is rather mind boggling that I see 50 or so when I look at the UI which says my area but then walking around questing - nothing. Granted, I level slower but this game overall seems like a "SINGLE" player game rather than a MMO. Trust me when I say I played a lot of MMO's (DaOC, WoW, EQ, EQ2, Shadowbane, Vanguard, SWG, etc). I've been around like our smuggler bedmate Beryl.

Fact of the matter is the maps are HUGE yet the population density and design doesn't intise PvP at the lower levels. As others said there is a lvl 50 zone that will take care of this but I'm afraid by then it will be too late for the hard core pvp'ers. Call it ganking or a break. Whatever. To the OP's credit there are people that like the risk vs. reward when playing on a PVP server. And I don't see it either so far in this game.

Contested zone is that - whereas two or more people doing similar things have a chance to connect. You have a choice of yielding golden bombs of light and love or a knee in the lower part of the male/female body The choice is yours and it "IS" the risk of playing on the server...

No big - the game is fun and I'll play to 50 never the less. Hopefully I'll run into someone along the way other than a instant message chat session...

I am a little concerned about world pvp at the moment as well. My highest level character is only 16 so I will reserve judgement for another time. I do hope there is plenty of world pvp 25+ if not, rolling on a pvp server would be pointless for me.

P.S.

It's not about ganking level 1s, that's stupid. It's about fighting similar levels players. Don't mind waiting a few levels to do it... but it must happen!

Haha! For many that dont like ganking, PvP servers seem to be full of it. You're going to get ganked WAY more than you're going to get the "attacked by similarly leveled characters while doing questing or gathering."

most people right now even on pvp servers are actually playing their story.

nar shaddaa is the first pvp planet.

nothing is stopping you from going to their quest areas other than the fact you are probaly too scared to.

Got ganked lastnight on tatt by roving pack of 50's. The game just started...stop crying OP or go back to your precious WoW.
