This is for Kontraz and the OP, though since there's a 3-items-per-six-months policy, it will probably help Kontraz more.

Just follow the instructions in that post and they should restore the item for you. I tried twice before I knew about that form with no luck, but it seems like 'Seesaw' is the magic word (though a guildy was given a different magic word).

Well doesn't really matter who wrote speculations.
You say you got yours restored.
We have an example of someone not getting his items restored.
So it seems like it can happen. That he is writing something about logs is amybe a lie form his side but it doesn't change that Bioware are the ones who did something wrong.
You said that you are shure that they have logs and no matter how you twist it. Either they lied to him about not having logs (if he didn't lie) or they have logs and tell him that they simply cannot restore his items which is also a lie (you stated it).
Either way the mistake is on Biowares side and the sentence about logs doesn't change anything about that, wether it is a lie or not.

Do you feel better now?

"...an urgent and lengthy trip to a remote country."

I see a statement like this and alarm bells go off in my head. "Remote country?" Hell, even Antarctica has cell phone and/or satellite access.

I'd like to know what this "remote country" is.

Color me skeptical.

The question is do you feel better now after calling him a liar for no reason.
I hope you get your items back always sucks when something like this happens.

To be fair, there are countries without internet access/internet access to certain sites.

Hell, I live in a first world country and I don't even get mobile reception here.

I merely stated something was wrong in the OP.

There was no maliciousness until you came along. The OP responsed politely, and I am still pointing out that something in his post is wrong.

Generally, when people make things up in initial posts -- it is because they are making the entire thing up. I've seen many people attempt to get free items or characters by claiming items/chars were deleted. While I don't automatically think the OP must be lying -- I do not give people on the internet the benefit of the doubt for no reason.

The other poster had a similar situation, and never claimed anything about logs. He ALSO had picture proof. Multiple people have also recommended he escalate the ticket, or try again -- because we know they CAN restore the items.

I'll post the 4th and last ticket when I get home.
Regardless of the result I'll make screenies of all four and post them here afterwards.
I don't need to lie to get anything I want, but I certainly don't tolerate being had like this either.

I know we all want to feel like people would back us up if this happened to us and that Bioware is the devil and all, but come on guys, this doesn't smell a little bit funky to you?
