I think the real question here is why did he have over 150.000.000 credits worth of items on the GTN at the same time when he so illfatedly had to go out of country for over 30 days with no chance to log in to the game at all during that time or before leaving?

I just find it odd that anyone would have items for over 150 million up on the GTN at any one time...

How does that matter?

That genuinely sucks that that happened to you bud.

I would follow the advice of others here and plug away at customer service again in the hope that you get someone decent.

I guess I am lucky that the few times I have had to resort to contacting them that they were very helpful and always sorted my problems ranging from vanishing items to bugged programming. On one occasion I also received Cartel Coins from customer service as a thank you for my patience, understanding and highlighting an in-game issue. So yeah it is all down to who you get I guess.

Good luck to you anyway in whatever you do, all the best!

Thank you for your support guys, maybe I'll try to post 4th and last ticket but don't have high hopes (1 & 3 were negative responses, and 2 was just straight out deleted 0__o)..

Really makes me feel isolated and ignored, wish there other means to contact them, live chat or smth..
Will sure miss the SWTOR community, ty again

You could call them on the phone.

But anyways, the customer service wasn't even bad here..: They said, they had no logs to proove that you had those items in the first place. They never said "sorry, you are out of luck, you do not get them back!".

Are you even 100% sure, that it is the right char and that you really did try to sell those items ? As I see it, you are asking us to believe you more than the official logs... and I am a bit reluctant to do so in an "I quit" post.

You apparently don't deal in any high end items. The Korrealis speeders are no longer in the game, so there are a very small few of them unbound and still available to obtain. On my server their prices range from 30,000,000 to 100,000,000 credits just for the one thing alone.

People who collect stuff and want things like that generally have to spend quite a bit of time saving up for the super rare stuff, and you never know when that potential customer is gonna be looking, so if you deal in rare items worth a lot you keep them on the GTN basically AT ALL TIMES. It makes perfect sense that he had his GTN listings up whenever he had urgent real life crisis happen.

I would be much more surprised that a serious GTN player didn't have their stuff listed when said emergency hit.

Yeah, Makeb is nothing compared to previous planets, yeah cat ppl is rubbish, yeah barbershop is robbery in plain daylight. etc. etc. But each time I paid, saying 'ok, if that's necessary for them to keep this game going, sure'.

Then, over a month ago, I left for an urgent and lengthy trip to a remote country. When I returned and logged to finally checkout Makeb and 2.1 features ALL my stuff up on GTN was GONE, wiped, erased, extinct. This included a Korrealis, Life day bundle, evented rare stuff, over 15k CC worth of CM stuffs, very rare world drops. Net loss of all this stuff is worth around 150kk credits in current Red Eclipse GTN prices.

Clearly, all Support had to say is 'yeah, right, we wipe all your mails after 30 days. SORRY. We can't restore your Korrealis coz we don't have logs to prove you ever had it. Hope you enjoy SWTOR'.

Well I don't. I have mails from Bio and other players over 400 days old. I have the over 30 days pointless Makeb stuff mails that weren't wiped.

I feel HAD and OWNED buy this selfish and careless system. Overall attitude towards customer care or even game support is directly the result of EA malicious policies.

Couldn't ever imagine saying this, but yes, Bye SWTOR. Thank you and all the lovely folk for the fun days we used to have.

You can have my stuff (or what's left of it).
I feel your pain. I made a similar thread two or three days ago, only it wasn't 150 million. It was only over a few million (I had placed high-end cartel items on the market, then had to take a temp LoA). I've seen them restore items when people delete them or sell them to npcs. I've seen them restore characters. I've seen them restore names. But they can't restore my items/credits because I was gone for a month and a half (while subscribed).

Here's my own thread on the issue.

would it be possible to get more info on this? Such as the CSR name, ticket number, server, etc? If they are able to do it at will for some players, but refuse to for others, that is discrimination and a breach of T&C on Bioware's part.
