Well, then you'll be happy to know that oceanic players aren't effecting your queue, so you can "play with other countrymen" without sacrificing anything.

Why do people not think things through before they post? When it's 5pm in oceania (going with GMT +9), it's 12am PST. So the time when there are enough oceanic players to cause a queue is when most Americans are logging out. And there aren't enough oceanic players during off-peak periods to significantly cause a queue for American peak times.

Knowledge is power... get facts before you make horrible assumptions. If all the oceanic players stopped logging in, you would still have queues.
Pro-Addon, but also Pro-regulation. Working to keep addons that do more harm than good out of the game.

The queue times division in guilds now. Everyone is already complaining about what it will be like when we are trying to get online in the evening when everyone is available to raid or PVP. You can't have a strong guild with most of them complain that they way in a 4+ hour queue to play for 1 hour before having to logoff.

I'm not blaming anyone but check the server status page. The Swiftsure and Harbringer sit at Heavy to Full for a larger portion of the day than any other server and queue times are double that of other full servers at least.
I don't have a link handy to it but I know I read in another thread regarding the warnings of these servers high populations that the caps have been increase to near max and not all the other servers are. Bioware and EA will not lock the server which I don't understand. I cut myself I put a band-aid on it I don't just walk around bleeding.

I agree it would be less of a pain for BioWare to do this, and if they choose to go that route great, BUT I really hope they would allow US guilds (like mine) that were assigned to those servers the option to transfer to another server remaining in the US.

Bottom line: when they launch officially in the Oceanic region, somebody somewhere is going to have to transfer in order to play in their preferred time zone/region. Servers have been mixed since launch, so there's no way around it.

Goes the same for you too friend. You assume you know when I play. Just so you know, I play late night (past 12am) or early mornings, so before you try to make someone look stupid, make sure you dont make yourself look stupid first.

Note: posting from my G Nexus, typing mistakes WILL show up.
Without me, it's just aweso.

This game desperately needs some sandbox elements. Repetitive grinding is not fun.

EA have offices and such in Australia - so it could be. Blizzard doesn't so they were not located in Australia as the expense of setting that up would have been too high.

Just remember guys the game population will settle down after the first month and queues were expected as it happens with all mmos at launch.

I will not quit or move to another server where the gaming group I have been a member of for 5 years don't plan to be.
I should never be told where I can or cannot play, nobody here has the right except bioware/EA.

Yep it offered me that upgrade option when I entered my product code from a standard edition.

A real pity we didn't get the launch with the rest of the world though, but meh, having a local server will make up for it.
The rest of the world hasnt launched yet.. only US and a few Euro countries
