Duh, the reason they want people to get as many people ready for Makeb as possible was so that as many people as possible would buy Makeb.

It is definitely not because they do not want to see people on lower planets....
Several points here:
1. I didn't say they didn't want to see people on lower planets. What I did say is they want people to get to endgame sooner, because once they do their options are: A. Pay to roll a new toon, B. Pay weekly passes for FPs, OPs, and/or WZs. C. Sub and get both of those, D. Move on to another game and not force the servers to waste resources on a player they will get no revenue from.
2. Wether or not leveling is the "main" aspect of the game is highly debatable, but I will admit your point on that has some merit.

Unless they decide to do what WoW intended for DKs, sacrifice one character to let it be reborn as that AC (it would made sense for those "Fallen Jedi" stuff people want for some reason (not sure why, you want a Knight on the Empire side? roll an alt), it will be just a "Death Knight spree". Do not want.
It would be a horrible idea if you had to sacrifice a character to get it.

How rude! I've met some very polite and up-standing Jawas in my time. One even had a tuxedo.

OT, going through all 5 pages so far I still haven't seen an idea that feels really "YEAH! Star Wars!" I think that's the biggest problem. BioWare did a very, very good job covering all the big stuff you imagine when you think, "Star Wars character".

All that's really missing is mild variations on each theme, as someone mentioned (SIS Agent, neutral/Imperial-aligned Smuggler, Imperial Trooper, etc). And that doesn't really seem worth the effort.

Except, maybe, Imperial Guard. That's sort-of untouched territory from a player perspective and could make for a very, very interesting story. It's not a soldier (Trooper), it's not Imperial military operations (Agent, although they're technically not military it has the same flavor), it's not Force-filled mumbojumbo (Jedi, Sith) — Imperial Guard is its special thing in a lot of ways.

Although even there, the whole "loyal crusader of the Emperor" thing is sort-of covered already by Sith Warrior.

Instead of new classes, i'd love to see new skill tress that allow sages to play melee, scoundrel to play ranged, new saber style focus trees for guardians.

Who said it has to be 3 ? More variety is always fun .

I think a droid class would be cool, like someone said an HK droid. That would be thinking outside of the box and add more depth to the game. Make it happen bioware.

"It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more...than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so *********** what." - Stephen Fry

Ok, here's my idea, and it may prove to be genius or pure stupidity, but hear it out.
So i am thinking: Gungan homeworld. Boom.
It's a whole new faction, neither imperial or republic. The main world is their underwater city, and you then travel out to different planets. They neutrally observe and try to gain contacts and power in this new world, finally ending on coruscant perhaps. Maybe they're made a senator. That would be interesting, i think.
You could have different types of gungan classes: Fish hunter, Explorer, Fish tamer possibly even.
The animations in the homeworld might be tricky, but underwater would be a totally new thing...
What do you think?

P.S. For those who do not know, the main gungan in Star Wars is JarJar Binks.
