Forgive me if you're not. I don't know you, so I was considering all possibilities :-)

The seeds weren't so hard, it took me about 2-10 mins per seed. The pieces of the armor afterwards however are a huge pain, and I did give up on those.

I will hand it to the creators, they did come up with a good idea but clearly that is where the though process stopped and it all turned to junk. This thing can't pin point the side of a barn let alone anything under the ground. Do yourself a favor, complete the missions for it for the XP but skip anything else related to it as it is absolutely worthless.
I guess you have not heard of google search heh? Try it. You'll find everything easily.

Why would I dig if half of the speeder parts are not in the game???
How professional is that?
End of discussion.

By digging in the right location. Less than 10 minutes for me on each planet. I only did the mission so i could go after the dread seed helmet. Took 2 weeks and many hours but i finally got it on tat. I was lucky. It was early morning in the middle of the week and i was on an instance with only 4 imps on planet.

I've finished the entire seeker droid chain, and never had a problem finding the seeds. I too probably didn't take more than 10 min to find each, and some of that time had more to do with dodging or fighting the mobs in the area.

I've also found a number of the "special items" (the one item that closes out an area, not the "interesting items" you can find a number of, and not counting the green mods that don't even count as that) in the random areas. Usually takes me 20-30 min to do that though, and I probably will pop one of the enhancements that help narrow the search.

FYI, folks do know that the direction finder you get on a miss is from the location you're standing, and not your dig point, right?

I've got the seeds on 2 characters now, found it pretty easy both times.

A main reason why its pointless.. people are ignoring the quests and only digging for the speeder parts.. but even BW have stated in a forums post that not all parts are in fact in game so its just pointless digging for BoP parts which is stupid as the speeders themselves are BoL

I'm not sure if people can find the speeder parts without finishing the missions.

What? Are you saying that people actually need to read? Blasphemy!
