Heh.. definitely. Some have perfected it to an art form too.

I address them in RL the same way I address them in the forum too, straight on. The only difference being I can look them in the eye while doing so and I can read their body language and know if they are serious or just in need some attention.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

I can change the features of my character, any time, any place, to any style I have ever added. In 2.1, I can, once again, for a price. For me, I have questions on why if your competition does it, and does it better, how come you aren't matching or beating it?
I'm tempted to sub to DC again. Last night I checked it out. I don't think I'd do a multi-month sub though. I guess I can't get my Super Hero MMO fix in months. And DC is better than CO to me. And what little I saw of Marvel's MMO, I'm not impressed.

But you won't make it through the whole month.

No, the voters stupidly prioritized making a bad game over all the other heinous, evil, twisted things that actually do harm to people that many of the other companies against which EA "ran" had done.

Every single day we get another thread and countless responses by people who are frustrated with the Cartel Market. And this is just here on the forums. I know that it's cool to argue and be contrary and try to make yourself sound superior but the bottom line is that paying customers are fed up with this. Lots of them.

These are the warning signs folks. Remember a year ago when everyone was saying SWTOR will be F2P by years end? Remember when all of the same people here were laughing at that? Yeah. Guess what the next step is?

That was my point. The ones who will vote for that poll are not the same people greatly affected by those other companies as a whole. More gamers vote on that poll than say a financial planner or investor or someone who got wronged by BoA (who wrongs people all over the place).

I would say a lot of the voters are teenagers who haven't even gotten their first summer job yet.

And to that, you can't be surprised who wins a poll set up where it is and promoted around gaming forums. I have yet to see that poll mentioned when it's happening except on gaming forums. Last year it was on the social.bioware.com site and this year it was here.

But if you stop paying your sub in wow, you can't even log in to the game. In WoW's model, it's all about the subscription. They have 8 million + of them and take in billions of dollars every month. Anything you buy off the store is just icing on the cake. in SWTOR's model, the sub is optional and the store is an integral part of how the game makes money to keep operations open. If you don't like that kind of model, you're free to go back to WoW, but this is what is keeping SWTOR going.

Simple, though unpleasant for some, truth is that without CM this game would have been shut down ~8-9 months after release. The subs dipped that low. It was the only way to save the game.

It is certainly concerning to me as a subscriber that my subscription feels like it covers less and less of the game (as a percentage of the WHOLE game) with each CM release. It is disappointing that what the devs originally told us was a "gift" of cartel coins is now being considered as an "allowance" against which they develop new features.

But when someone makes as foolish a statement as, "What is the point of my $15 a month?" when the answer is so obvious if they would only unsubscribe and SEE, well, yeah, that's going to meet with some interesting responses.

Access to things like Section X
Faster levelling & rested XP
Discounted expansions (assuming they continue that theme)
No restrictions on chat

... thats all i can think of right now. As someone who doesnt always have a lot of time to play this game, I often unsub for a while. Its fine for just ocasional playing but when I actually want to really play the game properly I alway resub. It makes a massive difference especially if your an alt-aholic like me. So yeh, personally i do think its worth £9 (or $15) a month, I mean thats like the price of a cinema ticket or two pints and a packet of crisps.....
500 CC a month

The ability to send credits in mail between alts (Just send expensive items between characters)
No credit cap

6 quick bars (can be purchased on GTN via credits- 150k credits on my server for account)

Event Equipment (can be purchased for 200k-400k credits for account)

Faster levelling & rested XP (25% experience purchased for 20k. This is really the only incentive)
Discounted expansions (Its not discounted. Its $25)
No restrictions on chat (who talks that much)

You purchase all the unlocks from GTN and you no longer need reasons to sub. Credits are dirt cheap and incredibly easy to get.

My point is they need more incentives for subscription. No experience nerf (not boost) is not worht $15 per month. This game is a subscription game with F2P options or so BW said. Treat it like such.

If you think there're not enough incentives to sub, why do you? Or have you recently canceled? If not, why not?
