And THIS is how BARBERSHOP should be done.

I have no problem paying real money for new options, but paying for access to existing options is just wrong.

BS. Just logged into my WoW account and they still offer "Appearance Change" for $15. "Race Change" is $25.

See above. It costs $15 in WoW. A game that uses a pure subscription model and does not give any stipend.

No extra cost my ***. Every other game allows for their 'barber shop' to be paid with in in game credits, real money isn't even in that picture. I give them my 15$ a month so i don't have to pay for extra features because it's worth it to me. This is an unfair jab at subscribers.
there are fools who accept it and Applaud to it ...

Most are speaking about WoW's barbershop that allows very minimal changes for gold, hairstyle, hair color and horns/facial hair only. But again it's a sub only model and would be completely different if they offered it to F2P.

Note: Appearance Change is for a FULL Appearance Change, allowing you to change everything. You can do Jewelry, Face, Hair, etc. on a one off basis in-game for gold according to several of my friends who keep trying to convince me to come back to WoW.

The guy I quoted implied that in WoW, the only appearance changes that cost money are race changes. There wasn't any ambiguity considering it was a direct response to my "Appearance Change FAQ" link.

I actually agree that allowing subscribers to change their hair style/color would be perfectly reasonable. Problem is, It gets lost in the hyperbolic demands that subscribers shouldn't have to spend cartel coins on *anything*.

CO, STO and TSW are all F2P games and they offer in-game appearance changes for in-game currencies. Only new options to use cost real money. That's the way it should be done.

They also make the access point to the appearance changes a simple vendor that can be placed in social locations to boost social activity and not big oversized graphics hogs that can only be placed in the main hubs that are already crowded enough.

Also, read my thread, BARBERSHOP Done Right! If they used that model it would do a lot more than just make them money, and it would probably make them even more money because their subs wouldn't feel like they're being ripped off, which would make them feel better about spending.

I would still feel ripped off if F2P gets the kiosk with credits and I still pay $15 a month. I read your post and still feel F2P should not have easy access by running dailies to have access to these features. The only way these freeloaders don't have access is to charge CC's for changes. This way I feel ok with them having to spend real money on these options and I don't!

EDIT-

I'm starting to think you want this so you can go F2P and get these new features for free!

I don't see anything about doing it for in-game gold, nor is it coming up in google search, so I very much doubt that. Feel free to correct me as I don't play the game anymore, but it needs to be from a better source than your friend However, I clearly see them charging $15 for it on my WoW account screen.

Dude, you obviously didn't even read the OP. There is a charge for F2Pers to access the vendor in my model.
As it is now, there is no difference between F2P and sub. Both have access to the stupid Kiosk for the same thing, Cartel Coins.

I think you actually have to log into the game and go to the vendor to see it but you could also try checking their forums.
