And I said as much. I'm just fine with coming back after all of 2.1 has been revealed. However, I just wanted to point out a glaring difference in what was put forth and what is being shown. I do think all of 2.1 needs to be shown first. However, at this stage, what is scheduled to be in it is probably all that's coming, we just don't know about it yet. The answer is there.

I, for one, highly doubt that the patch notes will only have three bullet points. Let's see what happens with the first update here before we freak out.

Also, I am one of the PvPers that wants Bolster gone/fixed, so I totally get what you are saying.

I will say this - if we went back and categorized each patch note, there'd probably be a decent percentage that were fixes. However, if there's now supposed to be a major focus on such improvement, shouldn't the patches going forward start to include a much higher percentage of such notes?

Also, I do personally find it a bit easy to not count any that are fixes of things they broke in 2.0, 20 days after the update. I can't explain exactly why I feel that way, but I do.

Each of those patches had quite a few QoL fixes.

As far as 2.1 is concerned, it's probably the biggest possible QoL fix for me at least. I've deleted a lot of characters and it's nice to not have to because we can change their looks.

Please don't drag us RPer's into this. You wanna call Bioware a liar, do it, but please keep us out of your argument.

Bioware, we're totally fine waiting for chat bubbles and ship seating. Please don't kill our game aspect like you did to the PVPer's!

No bug fixes, no changes to bolster etc, just those 3 new features? We never know precisely what is in a patch until it hits PTS or goes live, every single patch has been like that. I would point out that armour dies will be seen as a QoL feature for many players. And a lot will feel that character customisation is also QoL.

Both improve the game experience, just because you may not want them does not mean that they are not QoL. BW said they will concentrate on QoL and so far 2.1 contains QoL improvements, they are keeping their promise.

I'm disappointed that they are blocking all the 2.1 features (outside of some dyes available to everyone) from in-game purchase (as in in-game credits). I would be fine with charging for appearance changes in the CM as long as they ALSO gave you the option to buy it with in-game credits. I have a very bad feeling that most customization outside of what we already have will be Real-Money transactions only. This will make me very sad as a subscriber, as I already give them real money.

The fact that they said "we won't charge for story content, only customization" seems to be the "out" that everyone is using... but what about just taking issue with that on it's own? BioWare/EA, WHY are you charging real money only for appearance changes, and race unlocks (especially to subscribers)? Then they act benevolent because they will give a "discount" (UP TO 50% on "Some" things, which means don't hold your breath for great discounts) on these non-impacting features... so good news, if you're a subscriber, you only have to give us less money for cool new content going forward.

Look, if you want to make money, just flat out remove the subscription option. Make it an ACTUAL Free2Play game and charge us up the wazoo for everything (like other EA ventures), but at least be honest about it. I feel strung along as a sub... every new thing they announce will be "cheaper for subscribers." This literally equates to "paying for a discount." This does not grant us appearance changes, it allows us to pay less for them, plus $15 a month.

I get this is a business... but it can also be a fair business. If you run a fair business, people will flock to it, and you will get more business. If you run an unfair business, people will hold polls on "worst company in the world" and you will be on it.

They run a fair business.

It just happens that the fair business is EA Sports, and that's why the rest of us don't matter. You wanna hurt EA, convince the sports fans to boycott.
