Server Transfer Questions

With the shut down of Dalborra sever and the forced move to The Harbrinder server I have more than 12 toons between both servers.1. Will we get more slots given to us for the extra toons we have?
2. Do we have to cull our toons to 12?
3. What will happen if we have more than the slots allowed?
4. Will guilds move over as they are?
5. What if two guilds have the same name?
I know the move will be soon as shut down times for the Asia Pacific Servers are no longer mentioned in the announcements

I've moved this to the customer service forum just noticed the lack of feed back from Bio ware on this forum

Your toons will be shifted to Harb, and I reckon they will allow all toons to be present. Only catch is, if you ever want to create another toon, you need to bring down your toon count, or purchase the cartel character slot unlock.

OR, they could be cheap, and ask you to select which 12 characters you want marked as "active" and deactivate the other ones, like they do to Subscribers gone F2P.

Have I missed where they have said when this is happening?

No "when" was ever mentioned, as far as I recall.

And why to the most unstable server!?!? There is another server of the same type that doesn't have as high of a population. Why make this one even more over populated when it is already so full that it has crashed before?!

I think My First question has been answered, that they will move all of our toons to the new server.

My Second question is, what happens if our names are already taken? The only place I know of to name our toons is upon creation, so will they give us a one time opportunity to rename our level 50+ toons if their names are already being used? cause I sure as heck aint starting one over just over a name.

You will only be able to move the number of toons that fit within the toon limit.

The Harbinger only becomes 'unstable' during the NA prime time. There aren't any issues during ours. I have toons over there and haven't experienced any problems at all.

If your name is already taken over there, you will be given a one time rename of your toon. You will be prompted to do this when you go to log into that particular toon.

what is the reason behind closing the apac servers any way ?

Yeah, probably the thing that is going to annoy me the most is losing my character names.
It was annoying enough losing a few of my names when I transfered over here to the APAC servers when they originally released them
