Don't like Cathar

This, pretty much. I don't like Twi'leks. I hate Twi'leks. I think less of people of play Twi'leks.

Well, they released some PVP footage of a Cathar Marauder. Tbh, I'm not convinced.

You think less of someone because of the race/species they choose to play in a game where that choice is purely cosmetic? Talk about lame. But hey, it's your dime. If it were a game like DDO where all the teenage powergamers play Warforged for their massive bonuses, that would be a different story.

There is a good reason not to have the Yoda race. Multiple infact.

1) All of the armor assets would have to be completely redone for their body type. The alternative would be having to do entirely new sets of armor, which wouldn't make any sense to do just for a single race.

2) They would need to create an entirely new set of animations for them given their height, not to mention they wouldn't be able to use a majority of the speeders either, since they're designed around the specific body types.

3) All the cutscenes in the game are framed around the existing body heights. This means that if you were to play as one now, as is, you'd never see them in any of the conversation cutscenes as their height would put them out of frame. Just like with the armors they'd have to redo all the cutscenes for a single race.

They'd have to do way, way too much work for just a single species, and you'd never get enough people to buy the race in order for it to recoup the development costs it would take to do all that.

4. No one will ever know what race Yoda is.
